Just because anti Trump people say he failed miserably it really doesn't mean he did.

    I like Trump's ideas better than Hillary's.

But his temperament is scary and he acts like baby sometimes. He is not a presidential material.

Actually I don't think either one is fit for president. America is screwed either way.

Just because you sarcastically say its an awesome counter argument doesn't mean it's not an awesome counter argument.

Prominent Republican leaders are anti-Trump. That speaks volumes of how crappy of a person and candidate he is. How old are you? Can't be much older than 22, 23.

What about the feasibility of his ideas do you like? By what mechanism do you think that the president has the authority to unilaterally impose a religious test on people entering the country or force a sovereign nation to pay for a wall on their border?

His "ideas" are not ideas. They are not possible with the powers of the presidency and a Congress full of his own party denouncing his "ideas."

Nobody in their right mind would think Trump will be able to accomplish all the ideas he pitches.

And if you are serious about some of his ideas, you are a fool. Once a while he need throw those "crazy, extreme" ideas out there just to get media attention and keep his campaign going. He run his campaign extremely economical thanks to all the media coverage he got. It is a double-edge sword though, it carried him so far but it made him a lot enemies and it most likely won't work for GE.

But I think he attacks the right problems: stop or slow down illegal immigration, stop playing PC on terrorism and be much tougher on terrorists,
shake up establishments from both parties and let them know not everyone is a sheep. I think the country is going too far left and need someone to steer it to the middle a little bit. But most of the liberals on this board will disagree with me and think the country is not left enough, and that is OK too.

You could easily stop allowing people from certain countries in. Start with the ones that have the death penalty for homosexuality. That is a bit of a human rights issue. We are always talking about human rights with China.

Sorry homosexuals of Nigeria, if you thought you could escape persecution by taking refuge in the United States, think again.

Don't listen to everything Trump has specifically said about barring Muslims from entering, he really meant certain countries! None of the previous stuff mattered!

Save a few that are actually able to get here or save them all with diplomacy so they can remain in their home. I think the second option is better.

OK? Great discussion, look forward to the next one.

My point is that it's hard to pivot to a more rational "We can't allow people from certain dangerous countries" into the United States when your previously stated rationale, repeated over and over, is that your true reason for denying their entry is religiously-based. Trump has stated that Muslims, of which there are 1.6 billion spread all over the world, are the intended target of his immigration ban, not Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese, etc.

He repeats the same nonsense about refugees not being vetted, lies about the numbers of people admitted into the United States thus far and all the while claims that it's really about the person's country of origin, not their faith. So a Muslim from war-torn Canada would be treated just as poorly by a President Trump as would a Muslim fleeing Raqqa.

This is not a debate Islam. It's about imposing a religious test on people of a certain faith entering the United States. I don't recall Trump specifying whether or not American Muslims who travel would be allowed to return to their home country or not. I guess Hakeem Olajuwon would find out at the gate, right?

This guy doesn't represent Muslims and he doesn't represented gun owners.

But banning Muslims is not the same thing as banning guns.

Damn, facebook sucked me into this by putting Trump's live stream on my newsfeed. This is really like watching a wreck... can't turn away. It's so absurd it's hilarious.
