My question is what will we see first when we die? Many people that reported Near Death Experiences (NDE) often claims they saw white light in the tunnel. Most people claims they felt peaceful, warmth, and love in this experience. Scientists, however, said it is just the living brain that is shutting down due to lack of oxygen. What do you think?
Sorry, the thread should said "what will we see when we die?" not when Since I can't edit, can anyone please edit it? Thank you.
Take DMT. The brain releases it just before death. In the 1990s, Rick Strassman conducted research on the psychedelic drug dimethyltryptamine (DMT) at the University of New Mexico. Strassman advanced the hypothesis that a massive release of DMT from the pineal gland prior to death or near-death was the cause of the near-death experience phenomenon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-death_experience
Since no one has come back from death... we will just have to wait. Be patient, it will come. As for NDE, I believe children has reported seeing cartoon character. Seems to indicate NDE is influenced by what the person has been exposed to.
Do you remember what you were doing before you were born? Of course not. You were nothing. When you do die, you just go back to that state.
I don't think the reports of NDE conflict with the scientific views on the brain shutting down, at all. So I guess I am answering "both" sides make sense to me.
This is what I was going to say. Never tried DMT, but the reports are pretty crazy. Many that have taken it report very similar experiences, in which they encounter a being of some type. It apparently only lasts for around 10 minutes, but I'd probably still never have the balls to try it.
