Last time we saw Yara/Theon, they weren't racing anymore. Yara was enjoying a nice break. Does she still have the Second Sons? Really haven't noticed them (other than Dario) in a while.

Indeed. Who knows how the flow of time goes, but it feels like they got to Volantis so fast, while it is taking them a while to get from there to Mereen
I'm beginning to think the delay is planned, because book sales will be much better when the show is over and people are jonesin for more, and to read GRRM's "official" take.

Do you guys think HBO cut the budget of GoT? We missed out on the Riverrun siege, Blackfish fight, Dragon burning master ships, Arya - Waif fight. I felt like we were promised so much all season and to be letdown so hard this episode was a huge letdown. It's crazy that episode 8 last year was Hardhomme.
And The Mountain and the Viper was 8th ep the year before that. But weren't both Final eps in 4 and 5 kinda slow wrap-ups/winddowns, so maybe 10 this year can be huge.
The whole joke scene seemed out of place and was like something you would put in a Blu Ray feature. Total misfire. They are wasting Dinklage talent with him in Mareen.
He has no reason to delay, as GoT isn't going to be more popular than it is now. Given the time between books, most people will have forgotten about it by the time the last book is out. It is the 2nd time they have done that to us. More than a couple seconds of those 3 in a room is overkill. Nobody wants small talk between 2 of the most boring people in Essos.
I think they saved some money for the last two episodes. Episode 9 took two months to film and will last 63 minutes (I think). Episode 10....well, I have an idea where it's going, and it's 69 minutes long. Patience, young Padewan.
