    Not very optimistic about Italy's chances this year. Injuries to Marchisio and most importantly Verratti have decimated our midfield. That along with questionable call ups leave me concerned. But Conte is a great motivator and that Juve Defense is the best in the tournament. So who knows they could go on a run. Forza Azzurri!!!

    They have raw individual talent as good as any team out there. They just can't put it together. The whole is less than sum of the parts

    Guys like DeBruyne, Hazard, Courtois, Aiderweld are amongst the best at their positions.

    Italy was mostly solid this decade despite one or two failures in group stage

    their problem was always defensive Catenaccio and not high scoring, halfway parking the bus
