Wow easy hand ball missed but you know what Brazil got a call in their favor against Ecuador so it cancels out.

 

If that's true, they're going to cost Dunga his job. Can't even get out of the first round in a group with Ecuador, Peru and Haiti?

 

Peru literally punched the ball into the goal.

Brazil was playing with fire to begin with not playing hard.

 

And Peru deserved a penalty kick anyway. So I think it a fair result anyway. Peru has not missed the quarters for a long time.

But review is so easy in soccer. Just give a central center 3 minutes of ongoing continuous play to correct a penalty. No need to even stop a game. Just keep playing until the center rewards a penalty or takes away a goal. It too easy.

The people calling the game didn't even have Brazil losing as an option that's why I asked what would happen if Peru wins.

 

Watching it live I could not tell, nor do I think the game announcers had any idea either, so I could see why the ref would have been struggling with it too.

but with your criteria then the Ecuador non-goal (GK own goal) would have not even been video replayed because it was ruled out of play prior.

 

We play in Seattle, so they have a little more time, would love it if the USA gets the semis in Houston - would go for sure.
