I think Florida, a swing state, is now going to Trump for sure. Trump already has a lead that state.

Well, work to overturn hate crimes laws then.

Yeah, I happen to think killing people just because they're a certain way is wrong, and I happen to think getting triggered by seeing two men kiss and then going around and plotting an attack on a gay club is your special category of wrong, but what do I know, I'm just stupid.

Maybe Trump although Hillary is into frequent voluntary regime change wars which tend to increase this horrible siht'..
At least Hillary is into not allowing everybody to run around with assault weapons like I assume Trump is to appear to the folks who are his core supporters.

Can't kill our way out of this guys.

Time for a smarter strategy. Might have to give up on assault rifles and imperialistic overreach as part of the strategy.

We can't spend our way out of this either, as attractive as it is to the private security corporations. Even ten million more security guards to pat down and metal detectors at all large, restaurants, clubs, movie theaters.

And "no, this is not happening due to our love of freedom and their hatred of it", but mainly because we have killed a couple of million of them one way or another since Gulf War I with Bush I thought to the present.

Yeah, that's exactly what an account-switcher would say.

    ;)

But glad that you can't even own your other persona.

Sort of like saying that the fact this guy was Muslim makes it somehow worse than Adam Lanza, right?

This seems to be more about attacking LGBT pride week. A guy was just arrested for having assault weapons and explosive powder in a car...headed to the LA Gay Pride festival.

It's not worse, it's not better, it's the same thing. Pointing out that he's a radicalized Muslim just shows his motivation, the crime is still the same even if some want to believe that targeting certain groups for mass murder makes it a bigger deal than if they targeted different groups. You know, because people are supposed to be equal and all of that.

Going by Bobby's logic, if it doesn't matter that a certain group was targeted, then it shouldn't matter what religion this person was. Killing is killing.

Both sides pull the race / religion / orientation card, let's face it. The Right will say that it matters that he was Muslim, and the Left will say that it matters that these victims were LGBT. The question is: are both correct, or are both incorrect?

You made it up - nobody said that. "Going by Bobby's logic" - in YOUR head.

Of course the motive matters, in any crime.

Apparently it's just an act of "compassion":

    Neckbeards, please.

50 people are dead, many more injured. Let's stay on topic - unless you're just here for attention like Northside. Not all gays want to make everything about them - but he certainly enforces the stereotype.

My question is simple. How many more people have to be killed by intolerant muslims - who you call "Radicalized", before you are willing to open the discussion that extremism and moderates are deeply interconnected?

Going by my logic, it doesn't make mass murder any more or any less of a crime. Finding out that the man was under FBI "security review" as a potential ISIS sympathizer would merely establish motive.

As to being correct or incorrect, if someone is suggesting that it makes the crime that was committed more or less of a crime then they are both incorrect. I don't think anyone other than those pushing the LGBTQLMNO agenda are trying to suggest that any of those factors makes the crime better or worse.

Going on a date tonight actually in one of the stodgy old-guard LGBT institutions in SF, wish me luck that another homophobe doesn't come swinging by :)

Here's a parting thought, if you're going to refer to my sexuality off-hand, be clearer about it. It'll help unnettle certain semantic ambiguities. Switcher with men, bi, f**got whatever you want to call me, I don't care--but I have never been an account-switcher, unlike some. ;)
