Obama's approval ratings are middling. He started off on a high, but within a year dropped down to about 49% and has remained there plus or minus about three percent for the remainder of his presidency, with higher disapproval than approval more often than not (but also generally not far from 49%).

I'll let you guess again, you'll be surprised. Just not a fan of religious zealots like you.

Given the partisan nature of America today 50% is pretty good. You can be sure the dems are going to return the favor the next time a rep is elected and smear the crap out of him the drag their approval rating down.

    I disagree

Obama will be looked at as one of the greatest orators in American history, but also as one of the top 5 worst presidents in American history.

He has left an absolute mess for the next president whomever it may be. 60% Obamacare insurance increases among other debt accruing things that are set to destroy the economy take affect conveniently as soon as Obama leaves office. He hopes the economic disaster he set up wont be blamed on him but instead be blamed on the next president, it wont. He will be recognized as one of the worst American Presidents of all time years from now in history books.

He maxed out a credit card to stay afloat to make the economy appear to be doing well during his tenure but basically leaving an insurmountable problem down the road instead of doing his job and trying to fix the problem.

Middling can still create an icon. His ratings are higher than Reagan's.

It'll be payback for all of the Ronnie bulls**t that has happened in the last 30 years. Imagine a number of people extolling Obama just like they did Ronnie XD

Now you're just spewing nonsense. I've called out Clinton many times, do a search before you make false claims, and I voted for Bernie Sanders. You just said you were voting for Trump. Doh.

    As usual, you're just ignorant.

Oh, please. Give us all a break. If a "credit card" was maxed out, it was by George W. Bush and his insane and unnecessary war in Iraq, which left tens of thousands of our people dead and wounded, and hundreds of thousands of Iraq's. President Obama was left an incredible mess to clean up, a financial collapse that occurred during Bush's watch, and a multi-trillion dollar debt run up by George Bush's mad adventure in Iraq, an "adventure" that we are still paying for in blood and treasure, as is the region. Here we sit, almost 8 years later, and our economy is the envy of damn near every country in the world, who would love to have the "problems" we have today. Oh, and the last President to balance the Federal budget? Hillary Clinton's husband, former President Bill Clinton.

Reagan had lower lows, but spent more time up neat 60% approval.

ur ill-infomred, confusing GWB w Obama.

GWB inherited a huge surplus from his predecessor and pissed it away in his first 7 mo in office. he spent $$ like a drunken sailor. he gave a permanent tax cut, one that the country couldn't / can't afford. he made it even worst by invading Iraq under false pretense. his ineptness drove the US economy into a depression.

GWB left office, unable to bail out the financial industry w the w the economy stuck in a depression, losing hundreds of thousands of job, and lower the unemployment rate substantially

ur have no idea WTF ur talking about. the annual cost of maintaining ObamaCare is less than the cost of one week of maintaining the Iraq occupation

again ur have no idea WTF ur talking about.

Obama successfully bail out the financial industry, has generated >50 consecutive months of net job gains and killed bin Laden

the US economy is far better off than when GWB left office; it is day and night

If Trump wins, I will leave the U.S. A lot of people say it, but I really mean it.

    I'm moving to Afghan.

I just can't pick the right one to move to. Here are the options I'm looking at now.
