I am not surprised at all. No real superstar would like to be a Rockets player. This organization just sucks. The owner just likes entertaining basketball.
Sure we can, but logic and rational thought process support me...not you. Secondly, if you're talking about my claims ...comeon whether I say we suck or not has no bearing on whether or not they blow the team up. This has happened every time, I say something people don't like because its true and its callled pessimism. Do I want to **** Jessica Alba and is there a chance? Sure there is! Is it close to 0? Yup.. Don't get me wrong, I would be thrilled if either of those scenarios take place, I'm just opening my eyes and putting into perspective the chances of that happening. Sure. You'll have to keep it on the reminder since we're talking about a year from now though.
If KD or someone comes I will pay the full amount HAPPILY. But like rolling the dice in vegas, we all know the chances.
[Stein] Curry, Thompson, Green NOT considering leaving 73 win team to join Harden, Rockets, and form new Fearsome Foursome - all still under contract with Warriors. [Joe Clutchfan] Stein is a shill for the Mavs, I'm not going to rule it out.
How can you make that determination when the final roster hasn't been set and everyone is a year older? Clint capela is the current center right now with no backup and there is no power forward under contract except Michael Beasley
I am confused to as why Houston is such a long shot compared to everyone but OKC. We got just an equally small chance to get Durant.
Well firstly, everyone being a year older doesn't mean much, Ariza, Howard and Brewer are the only real rotation players at the end of their primes and they are all just 30. With that being said, he's making that determination off of listening to our owner and GM talk this off season. It's clear, the Rockets are aggressively in win now mode, and trying to take advantage of Harden's prime, there will be no steps back this off season, I think 50 wins is a fair expectation.
I'm with you, unless Stein's informant is Durant, I think we have a great chance. Certainly better than the chances that PolloHermano is going to 4star Jessica Alba. Like Houston might have like a 5-15% chance of getting Durant where as I'd bet the Alba deal might be more like 0.0000015%. These comparisons seem stupid, I wonder why Pollo even thought this was in the same realm of possibility.
just shut up shaq said this after dwight signed with the same agent to help his"brand". you are clueless and should find a new sport to watch fi you think 95% of the NBA dont wanna play with harden There is no truth whatsoever to that bulll****, no player on the current rocket team should "touch the ball" unless they are open for a layup or have a wide open open shot and that is the TRUTH. No one can handle, pass or shoot and you want everyone to touch the ball lol wow how someone can look soo stupid or believe something so delusional just to motivate his past remarks DD=Fool
After the hiring of D'Antoni, can't say I blame him at the moment? This guy should choose Phil Jackson instead, obvious chose at the moment.

Maybe because the rockets had terrible chemistry and defensive issues, lost a ton of close games and was a laughing stock media hate all year long yet still managed to win 41 games. I think we an extra 20 mil to spend even if dwight ops in plus new coaching staff with players out to prove somthing we get back to winning 50+ games like they did the last 2 years before this one. Going into the season most fans and media had the team pushing maybe 60 wins. everyone knows this team underachieved, if they regress back to the norm their a 50 win team. You guys act like we won 20 games this year. We sucked ass Forsure had all kinds of losing streaks and disfunction, but we still won 41 games.
I wonder how different the narrative of this thread would be had Stein's tweet said that Durant had Houston as his top choice.
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!” If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son.
