Fortunately were not going after Charles Barkley (or any of the other people who make the "my era was better" argument that current players roll their eyes at) in free agency, so the players vote is more meaningful vote of confidence than their opinions.

He's more of a straight to ESPN/TNT or Radio Podcast etc, etc kind of guy. He's worst than Jalen Rose in terms of basketball career worthiness.

And? Lol. Players want to play with James harden, get over it. No one is saying everyone wants to but let's not be stupid.

Shaq too - I know it is hard for fans to look critically, but Harden ball dominating is not attractive to players who want to touch the ball, hell Dwight Howard didn't like it this year..

Hard to handle the truth, but it is what it is....hopefully D'Antoni can get the ball moving a lot more - and it can end up in Harden's hands, it just doesn't need to start there so often.

Players need to touch the ball to feel involved.....if you have ever played you know that to be true.

Now the Rockets are harassing him. Why don't they get the hint?

....probably because it hasn't been reported by a legitimate source yet. You can't blame them (or any intelligent person) for not believing the Mavs homer when it comes to Rockets news. He's generally a troll when it comes to Rockets speculation. Sure he's been right before, but when he's the only person saying something, it's pretty hard to believe.

If Woj or someone with real credibility comes out and says it too, then that changes things.

Yes, it's 100% certain he's going back to OKC which is why it seems like he'll be going across the country wanting to be convinced to leave.

Again, if it's so certain that he's going back to OKC then within 3 days of FA start he'll sign there and won't even get courted by other teams.

There is nothing to be gained by both sides for him to visit 7 teams and delay it for a week or two just for the hell of it. Which is why the first time he was a FA he wasted 0 time re signing. 0 time.

Never expected KD to come here in the first place but now I really hope he does just so the people in this thread that are so sure about what KD wants to do feel stupid.

Again you seem to be missing the point, I'm making.

The point is I'm saying & willing to bet you, that Durant is not coming to Houston.

Durant might not be 100% staying in OKC, but he sure is a hell of a lot more likely to stay in OKC or end up somewhere else than he is to join the rockets.

All your made up reasons of why he should prefer the rockets are irrelevant.

    embarrassing franchise.

First this season, then the coaching hire and now this.

On the bright side if they're going to lose hopefully they lose bad and get top picks and fans stop giving Les money so he can sell the team.

This is bs. One bad season and you're hoping that the entire franchise implodes. Why even bother posting?

Why are you against getting top talent through the draft?

Real rockets fans want the rockets to get better and would support the team even if they lose in the short term...smh.

Building that way would take many years of sucking, not "sucking" like last year, I'm talking real sucking like Golden State for the majority of the last 20 years or the 76ers the last several years.....is that really what you want?

Wouldn't you prefer the team retool and make a run with the current core?

It isn't going to f***ing happen. Les won't go through a rebuild. What, you want to trade Harden for one of the top 2 picks? Forget it. So why not drop it?

Of course I would, that won't happen though, unless by a retool you mean by signing Channing Frye etc..

Its about having realistic expectation with a plan and a goal. If the rockets suck next year, they might as well suck all the way. Morey has said that himself, there is no middle ground...you suck bad or you do great.
You just misread my post friend. All I said was if they are going to be bad, .500 level bad---they might as well just stay at the bottom. If they suck that bad it doesn't matter what Les thnks, he can't magically make the team play better. This was one of the weakest WC years in recent memory, in previous years the rockets would never have come close to making the post season.

Realistic isn't the same as pessimistic. For all we know, they'll end up signing Durant and Horford or something like that with the intention of making a run with a big 3. Saying that things can't happen simply because no one can know if they will happen is just lazy. How about we let FA at least get here before we start falling into despair and talking about blowing the entire team up. Can we do that?

I'll bet you 50$ in the tip jar that Houston wins over 50 games this year.

You in? Since you think we're going to be a .500 team.

I do agree that if we suck we should suck all the way but we won't suck because ppl like You underrate Harden way to much. We had one of the worst shooting rosters in the league last year yet we had a top 7 offense.... James Harden.

If the defense makes a 10 team jump to just 15th in the league we will win 59 games easy.

    So are you in?

Also if we get KD or some other Max comtract guy I'll call the bet off and you should just match me 25$ to clutch for making this great website.
