Harris was really overthrowing there. It goes to show u that closing is a different beast for sure. He'll need to settle down to keep the job.

    Harris grunts every heater.

    He overthrows.

Did it in the eighth inning as well.

I came to this thread specifically to mention how closing games is SO different than any other relief role...Just look at Gregerson in his few appearances since having the closer role taken away from him, he's been pretty lights out.

Inning ending double play. Pretty amazing considering Jennings was running.

Walked the next guy to load the bases.
Next one hit a San Fly to center to make it 4-3.
With runner on 1st and 3rd, 1 out, Jennings grounds into a double play up the middle.

    Game over

said the same. harris has been amazing, but eventually giles has to become the closer, it's what he was brought here to do.

thank goodness for desmond jennings and the rays bullpen being useless!

I still think it should be Giles. Until Harris blows some, though, I'm ok with him keeping the job.

Harris walked the first batter, allowed a single then walked the next guy. Bases loaded, 0 outs. Next batter hit a deep fly to center and the runners on 2nd and 3rd advanced. 4-3 Stros still winning. Next batter (Jennings) hit a broken bat double play. Beautiful turn by Altuve and Marwin to get the speedy Jennings.

Will Harris went ballistic, screaming let's ****ing go.

We probably lose today if Correa played instead of Marwin.

But Marwin could have played 1B instead of White.
