It's not so much that gattis sucks, it's that there's no better alternative at all that's most disheartening. Thank goodness for that WP. Hope Luke doesn't blow it
I'm not sure that Luke should be pitching here until he proves he can get that era down, but he's not all bad. It could be worse.
would've liked fiers out there to save the pen, but greg facing 2 righties and brad miller isn't much of a threat.
like i said, i loved our chances in a tie game late. the rays bullpen is buns. great outing by fiers. he just needs to string in consecutive quality starts instead of sandwiching them in between poor performances.
