I mean people call the Clintons liars but somehow Trump is better? That dude only tells lies. Then look whom else the GOP has put up - Romney? Guy is shady as heck. Palin? Definitely scandalous and filled with all sorts of mischievous endeavors. Let's not forget Bush/Cheney that basically lied to the entire country to get it to go into a disaster war that resulted in the most American military casualties since Vietnam.

This is why the country still will elect Hillary - not because she is somehow this honest person, but because compared to what gets put out there - she is far more honest.

I think this is a good point. Being able to put International Security Advisory Board on your resume would be helpful for securing other cushy, inordinately influential, highfalutin positions, like seats on Boards of Directors. It makes him an insider, which can be leveraged later for consulting or lobbying jobs. Without taking any money directly out of ISAB's pocket, it could be very valuable to him just trading on the name and the relationships he would form.

Until we can get better options in our politics, this is what we have. And it isn't so much about "Vote Hillary" as it is "Vote against Trump". And that is definitely NOT a ringing endorsement either way.

I know Hillary isn't going to ignore her own Intelligence Agencies when they tell her that a country doesn't have WMD's, and I know she won't manufacture yellowcake in Niger as a pretext to pull the country into war.

In other words, she's not going to screw anything up. Not domestically or internationally - and that is kinda the first basic premise in a leader - ya know, don't plunge us into unnecessary wars, don't give the rich a big tax cut and balloon the deficit or enact draconian cuts targeted at the poor in order to satiate the rabid ignorant, and don't screw up the economy.

That's Clinton. With Trump you are going to get 4 years of a circus where he screws up the work done by the previous 15 presidents combined. No thanks, no Trump.

People just don't call the Clinton's liars for no reason. The Clinton are liars.... Hillary is getting exposed daily and it's not over yet. Wait till more of the deleted e-mails come out.

Trump hasn't made a factual correct statement yet, and hides his taxes. Don't even get started.

They both suck. That said Trump isn't under an FBI investigation and lying his ass off while deleting evidence.

Best thing for this country right now would be for to get indicted and hopefully let someone else like Biden have a shot at it.

I'm embarrassed I used to read that paper when I lived in NY. At the level of the National Enquirer.

HIllary is not only going to beat Trump's ass, people are going to go into it with such low expectations due the HHH syndrome that afflicts internet males like yourself that it's going to be smooth, smooth sailing her first term because the bar will be so low.

The Republicans will ocntinue to tear themselves asunder, the search for a successor to the Dem Dynasty in 2024 continues. We must secure the line of succession.

He broke 22% of his promises while he compromised on another 25%. 45% of his promises were delivered. The rest are in the works are stalled.

Good for you! (seriously) My late father was a department chair for over 30 years at a major Houston university, as well as an assistant dean for a couple of years (he left that aspect of administration because the Dean was a SOB, he didn't care for the added bureaucratic nonsense, and loved "simply" being a department chair), so I grew up hearing about the goings on at the university at the dinner table every night. At least the nights when he didn't work late. He loved teaching and also did a heck of a lot of research, as well as working overseas every summer for years for USAID. Perhaps you simply misunderstood B-Bob. My apologies, if that's the case. One doesn't always have the control over certain situations that would approach ideal. If you are in that environment, I'm sure you're familiar with the fundraising side of academia. It can be a pleasure and it can be an absolute pain.
