Great players want to play with great players. We're all stupid if we think players don't want to play with Harden. He's a superstar and the players did in fact vote him mvp over curry just 12 months ago. I think guys around the league see what we see. That hardens Load is heavier than anyone in the league and realize he needs help. I mean he creates the 3rd most open looks of anyone in the league but guys only made them at the 25th best rate. At some point we have to realize that the way harden likes to play and frankly any good player needs talented guys around him who can make shots. I don't care if we had LeBron James or Steph curry. They would not have done much better than what harden did this season with this group. Whether KD comes or not we have to get guys who can help harden out and make some shots and finish at the rim when he sucks the defense towards him. Jermey lin and chandler parsons are looking really nice right now compared or the guys we watched not no what to do with an open lane to the basket.
Great players that are almost 30 years old want to win if you haven't noticed lol Kevin Durant no exception and regardless of what you think James Harden has some serious issues on offense and defense especially when the opposing team makes you drive to the right side of the rim and you become handicapped what does you can't make a layup but the right hand LOL
The durant to Houston becoming mind readers once again. Great players have a sense of pride. If all you had to do was team up to win a championship it would have been done many more times before and after lebron. Also, Harden has a reputation of a lazy ass loser with empty stats, not sure he's a "great" player.
Funny thing is if Stein reported that Durant WAS considering Durant, people currently in denial here would be eating it up and probably will say that Stein's a credible reporter. Take off your homer glasses and face reality.
You're probably right that we'd eat up a tweet that he was considering HOU. But that doesn't mean that steins current info is credible.
and the people that claim to know that Durant hates Houston and spits on the franchise would be saying that Stein isn't credible. It goes both ways it seem, some people are way invested in this. I think a lot of us are just scoffing at the idea that anyone knows what Durant will do when it seems he doesn't even know what he's going to do.
That's probably true, but that wouldn't change the veracity of Marc Stein's report. It's just a pretty fallacy you've constructed.

I'm glad he doesn't want to come here. I'm tired of trying to build a fantasy team. I want a winning team. When was the last time a so called super team won a championship?
James Harden has serious issues on offense? Smh You sir no nothing about basketball. Go watch chandler parsons in Dallas. .... Regardless what you think James Harden is one of the best offensive basktball players to come around in a very long time and has alltime talent on that end. That's not just me that's nba coaches ex players and front office ppl. I guess their all wrong too. And KD is 27 not 30 I can't even take you serious.
We never stood a chance. Option A) Stay with OKC, a team that just made the conference finals, and make the most money Option B) Go to SA or GS, teams with elite level talent and coaching. Recent championship winners and automatic contenders (even without KD). ....or Option C) The trainwreck Rockets that just had a season that would have made the 2012 Lakers proud (and hired the coach of said disaster, to boot). A team that's not only rebuilding, but also in the midst of running their last high-profile free agent acquisition out of town. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, but c'mon.
A) Staying with OKC for another year would certainly make sense. This would be the best thing for his legacy in OKC and gives him and Westbrook one more shot before they both presumably become free agents. However, it wouldn't be surprising if KD doesn't want to do them any favors after they traded Harden and handed Kanter a max deal. You also have to consider what they'll do with Ibaka and Steven Adams when their contracts run up. With an owner that won't pay the luxury tax, how much more talent will they be able to add? B) Durant isn't going to GS. There's no way in hell he'd ever leave Westbrook to go play second fiddle to Curry. Won't happen. As for SA, it's definitely a possibility he could go there due to the Aldridge connection and obviously Pop, but he and Kawhi play the same position. People will say you can just move Durant to the 4 and Aldridge to 5, but it's not a given they'd agree to that. C) D'Antoni shouldn't be blamed for that Lakers team. Looking back, how was it such a big surprise that a team with Dwight fresh off back surgery + deteriorating Nash/Kobe couldn't contend for a title? Everyone's expectations for them were way higher than they should've been. Also, you say rebuilding like we're the 76ers. For the Rockets to have such a trainwreck season and still make the playoffs, being able to rebuild is a good thing. And if Dwight leaves, it's his own fault for caring more about getting his inefficient post up opportunities than winning a ring.
Staying in OKC makes the most sense since he can get a bigger deal in the summer of 2017. But sure is risky. Pretty sure that recent foot injury he had is still at the back of his mind.
