Meanwhile Bernie soldiers on trying to win delegates next Tuesday in Washington DC and has at least one big campaign rally scheduled there. Let's hope he keeps the pressure on Hillary to keep her from the usual strategy of populist rehtoric as little as necessary to win the election and than going back to the old corpoate Dem routine. It is analgous to the GOP leaders talking about abortion, gays, coded racism etc. during the primaries when they really are perfectly fine with these folks as employees in their corporations.

Bernie supporters on my Facebook feed are encouraging people to write in Bernie. So idiotic. If they really don't want Trump to be president, then dividing the democratic party is the last thing they want to do. Might as well just not vote at all.

I don't like Bernie Sanders but I think trying to shame, guilt, and extort his supporters into voting for someone other than who they want to vote for is just disgusting.

They deserve to take it all the way to the final primary. That way MAYBE they'll give up their conspiracy theories of indictments and "fraud". Probably not but maybe.

Kind of typical of the primary->general move, historically, but I agree that's it's not right or pretty.

People should just make their case clearly and respectfully and let it go. Better yet, it should be "what can we learn from you about a passionate campaign," or "can you somehow teach our candidate to dance?"

    I haven't seen "extort" (?) but I've seen exhort. :)

The White House confirmed today that it is a criminal investigation being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation against Hillary Clinton.

How is it possible that you and Sam were not aware of this? Or were you willfully misleading others, just like Hillary when she dishonestly referred to the investigation for several months as a "security inquiry"? FBI Director James Comey even corrected that point a few weeks ago and said it was a criminal investigation.

It's time for you to admit your mistake, B-Bob and Sam. Your credibility is very low right now.

    CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION CONFIRMED

‘I’d Like You To Post Long, Aggressive Rants On Social Media,’ Says Bernie Sanders In Supporter’s Interpretation Of Speech

WASHINGTON—Addressing reporters after meeting with President Obama at the White House this morning, Bernie Sanders called upon his followers to post long-winded, extremely aggressive rants on social media, according to local supporter Ryan Bailey’s interpretation of the speech. “I’d like you to go on Facebook or Twitter and harass as many people as possible with spiteful, protracted tirades,” said the Vermont senator in Bailey’s inference of the speech, which demanded that he and any other voters still committed to political revolution reply to anyone who challenged their opinion with a barrage of sharply worded displays of sanctimony and condescension, as well as any number of personal insults. “If somebody tries to get you to calm down or walk back your rhetoric, don’t hesitate to double down by questioning their intelligence and maligning their integrity before blocking them entirely. Also, if you see anybody sharing a conflicting point of view anywhere online, it is imperative that you attack them at once with a series of furious and preferably misogynistic responses.” According solely to Bailey’s own perception of the speech, Sanders then concluded his remarks by asking supporters to send a threatening email to Democratic Party officials or members of the media.

I don't think its shaming or guilting when all you're doing is telling the truth. Its especially not extorting. Hillary is not my first choice, I would rather have Warren, hell I would even take Biden over her but you would be stupid not to vote for her when the other choice is Donald Trump. On one side you have one of the most qualified candidates in the history of the elections and on the other side you have the least qualified candidate in history, a racist reality tv star who wants to spend billions and billions of dollars building a wall and hunting down people to kick them out of the country. He also wants to ban an entire religion. Its pretty cut and dry. You would be stupid not to vote for Hillary especially if its out of spite, you'll only hurt yourself.

I hope you saw the powerful speech Hillary Clinton made to Planned Parenthood in Washington this morning. It puts the lie to your comment about her.

    What a whacky election.

You have two people on both sides that are extremely disliked, even within their own party. And two "other guys" running on principle and as rabble rousers.

It's funny that Democrats are worried about the exact same thing Republicans were (not nearly as much since Cruz dropped out earlier). But you still have the Cruz supporters who are convinced he still has a chance, and the same with Bernie bros.

Not really. i I did say that Hillary, Bill and Obama for that matter will use populist rhetoric to get elected if needed. It is what they do afterwards when trying to appeal to their corporate funders and their lobbyists, who keep a closer eye on their doings than most voters, that concerns many of us.

As far as Planned Parenthood, Hillary has always been strong like Bernie wrt to women's issues on access to abortion and contraception. She is not as strong on women's economic issues, as it is important that women have those issues, too. Hillary isalso not as strong on women's access to general health care, though.

IF FOLKS ARE IN SWING STATES I URGE YOU TO VOTE FOR CORPORATE DEM HILLARY AS IT IS IMPORTANT TO BEAT TRUMP. IN STATES THAT ARE NOT IN CONTENTION AS w. TEXAS WHICH I ASSUME WILL NOT BE IN CONTENTION, I WOULD URGE THOSE PROGRESSIVES NOT CONTENT WITH HILLARY TO REGISTER THEIR PROTEST BY NOT VOTING FOR HER, BUT OF COURSE DO NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP. I INTEND TO WRITE IN BERNIE UNLESS SOME POLLS SHOW HILLARY WITHIN 5-10 POINTS OF TRUMP IN TX.

I will be at the TX State Convention as a Bernie Delegate violently rioting for Benie with the rest of the Bros.

Just kidding, but I will be there.

It's about shaking up the establishment, not stopping Trump from winning.

If anything, Trump winning will bring about more change. If he is as terrible as everyone says, then the progressives will clean sweep in 2018/2020.

One of the most "qualified" flip-flopping candidates in history that you're favorite Warren talked down about until she was put in line by Clinton. Probably gonna get a cabinet position or something.

Don't know why people think bernie supporters have to "get in line". That's not how change happens.

Sure, if I just set my kitchen on fire, the insurance will pay for it and I'll have a new fridge AND oven AND that nice new backsplash I wanted.

Just got to make sure the kitchen is the only thing that stays on fire......come on, stay on fire, stay on fire...OH NOES DATS TOO MUCH

It won't matter since giving the GOP 1 or maybe even 2 supreme court justices will do more damage than a clean sweep by Dems in 2018/2020

I don't get the extortion propositions:

Vote for Trump, or else Hillary.
Vote for Hillary, or else Trump.

Voters who strongly oppose one candidate but do not completely support the other (major party candidate), should not have to feel that they are under threat when they go to vote. At this point, a something like Sanders and Romney both separately running as independents needs to happen.

The true sign of an elite politician -- you're always ready to let it all burn down.

Thanks. but some of the contented moderate Hillary supporters will probably not realize that I was kidding about rioting violently.;)
