The result didn't surprise me. The way the Warriors looked in the opening minutes is exactly how the Cars looked in Game 3 against the Raptors. (Not that I'm claiming the talent gap is the same here.)

Even though the Warriors managed to get back in the game by halftime, they never looked like they were mentally in the game. This in contrast to Game 6 against OKC where they looked mentally sound even though they were behind by double digits late into the fourth.

Weird, the Warriors have lost game 3 of every series this year. Threes are just that their thing, I guess.

Right away I thought he looked/sounded hung over... guess I wasn't the only one.

I understand your point, but I think you're being disingenuous at not recognizing mine. The "amount" of help that one receives on the road to success is vastly different, and in certain individuals, personal effort and talent come secondary to external factors. There is no objective measure of this as we are largely dealing with the past and entirely unknowable events in time, but that doesn't mean such differences don't exist.

Pointing out Mark Zuckerberg's background doesn't actually support any cogent point, since that exact argument can be made even if he didn't have an upper middle class family, programming classes, boarding school, etc. Someone along the way would have helped him in some fashion. In fact, I would argue that Mark is pretty close to the "self made' end of the spectrum, as his success was founded upon a stroke of genius and subsequent perseverance. But to further my point - take two moguls for example: Li Ka-Shing and Donald Trump. They obviously did not start with equally advantageous positions in life, yet both are wildly successful. They both received varying levels of help throughout their lives, but I would venture a guess that most people would respect LKS's success to be far more commendable.

Again, I'm not detracting from her work ethic or skills as a chef and business woman. Perhaps it's her response about not using Steph's money that came off as arrogant to me. Hopefully I'm misconstruing her response, since she does seem like a nice person.

Obvious give away by the Warriors. You do know they have odd rituals. If they don't purposely lose game 3 they might not win the series is what I'm thinking is going on.

1-7, that's the game three result for GSW in the last two playoff runs.

The only win came from Curry's last second, fade-away 3pt shot against NO.

Kerr did pulled him out, and asked him if anything is wrong. He should have done that earlier.

It's one thing to miss your shots, but to not play hard, and play so casually in such an important game is not acceptable, it sends a bad message to other players.

It's do or die unless it's 3-0 in Cleveland's favor.
Golden State has shown the ability to come back from 3-1 against a team that honestly matched up way better against them.

Yeah, but it's hard to see Lebron let a 3-1 advantage slip.

What a boring finals, what's up with all the blow outs? How sad is it that 2 of the top 5 players in the game and past MVPs against each other is such a letdown? I can really understand why old men would yell at clouds with past greats in the finals against each other making very competitive games and just lead their teams. Such passive Lebron, bad Curry and just not what I expect from the Finals. As low scoring as our 94 Finals vs. Knicks was, it's still one of the best ever with the level of competitiveness and fire from both teams.

It looks like Lebron's head cleared the rim on that alley oop!
