I don't care which way the batter is facing, would MUCH rather see Feliz in there instead of Sipp in this situation
Esh is solid... the job has to be his if he wants it (but something tells me this is just till Ashby gets his voice back... and the fact that the games are close by in Dallas makes it easy for Esh to travel). Will be telling if Esh makes the trip to Tampa.
I think Hinch is getting cute here putting in Sipp who is mainly a spot guy. You put you better relievers in in the 7th, 8th, and 9th with small lead.
Its frustrating... one big advantage of being in the AL is not having to worry about pinch-hitting for the GD pitcher, and yet Hinch (or the front office) decides that 1 inning 7-12 pitch stints are all a pitcher needs to do.
Awesome... there's a hit for one lefty that you brought in Sipp for. Now, its decidedly in the Rangers advantage to have this pitching matchup. Maybe they really just aren't going to be allowed to beat the Rangers this year.
Why WHY Sipp? F'ing pitch Harris two innings. His arm won't fall off. What happened to the good ol days of a closer pitching a couple innings. Sipp gives me zero confidence
