only Cincinnati has a higher ERA from the pen than the Rangers I have no inside info as to what kind of gameplan we had coming in I do know that when we get into their pen early, it should give us a better chance
It just feels like the team is a clown show with Gomez on it. It doesn't help he and the team are just not that good to go along with the clown show.
Rangers bullpen is decent. Only reason it was worst in baseball becuase of few terrible ges with tolleson. Who's family had a death in the family. Numbers don't paint the whole picture.
Rangers bullpen era was inflated by a few pitchers no longer in pen and has gotten better with mat bush on
I agree... just saying that it hasn't worked in this series thus far. Tolleson/Diekman/Dyson have dominated the Astros all year and most of last year.... Matt Bush has been pretty good too. They need that Josh Fields-clone guy to come back in... he looked bad.
Beltre is the only Ranger player I don't dislike He's old as dirt, is still a premier 3rd baseman, and has fun playing the game
8 guys have thrown out of their pen with an era over 5 each 2 more have era's over 4 Tolleson was really bad, but he has had plenty of company
Yes rangers bullpend was bad but it must be getting better. You don't beat good teams with worst bullpen
I'm happy for Fister and he is definitely our ace so far. However it just lets you know how disappointing this season has been for an original rotation filler signing to take over as the staff ace.
