    No, it was Volquez.

    What Ventura did was Obie-esque

I really, really hope Gomez can some momentum going. The criticism on him was justified, but I actually like the guy.

...and Trumbo and Chris Davis both went yard after Machado was drilled. Funny.

Bregman could be this teams Profar. Just find a place to play him, anywhere on the diamond, and benefit from the bat.

That's how you do it. Hinch would probably bench Machado for that. We don't play like that.

We're the team with the hitter that gets hit by a pitch and breaks his hand because nobody is afraid of hitting our guys.

Altuve does NOT have blazing speed. He doesn't beat out enough grounders.

NICE FIGHT MACHADO!!! He landed that first punch. A right hook.

I'd rather there be no runners on for a DP to be necessarily in the first place.

Rasmus could've ran a better route. He ended up too far left, running passed ball, when he should've went up more.

Marisnick runs excellent routes. The ball was catchable if the RF ran it perfectly.

Yeah, that looked intentional. Dunno what Ventura's thinking there.

We have got to find a solid contact/decent speed right handed hitter for this club.

Jake has the speed but strikes out too much. But we just don't have that trusty right handed hitter off the bench, or one we can put in against lefties for that matter.

Springer plays dumb at times. Hammels walking the bottom of the order and his swinging away on the first pitch.

That was not the same as what happened to Springer. Nobody was advocating anybody charging the mound then.

Machado had every reason to charge the mound... Still not sure what good it will do him in the long run.
