In the April 2014 case, a woman told Waco police that Bears running back Devin Chafin grabbed her arm and slammed it against a car, in front of teammates and another witness. She provided photos of bruises on her arm to police. She told police that, weeks earlier, Chafin had grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against a wall, then threw her to the floor and kicked her, according to a police report. In the police report, the officer wrote that the woman was uncertain about pressing charges, and no legal action was taken. Chafin played in nine of 13 games the following season, including the season opener. Ungodly arrogance.... Let Briles build up the program by letting any monster on the team if they can play. Get caught in the trick box, throw Briles out as the sacrificial lamb.... Keep the assistants and buisness as usual at Baylor. The administration doesn't care about the alleged victims, they have thrown dirt on top of it and hopes the NCAA and the media let the rest slide.
If Baylor officials actually wanted to prove faith and Biblical morals mattered to them, they would cancel football this season.
Yup. Or fire entire football staff and enact the "death penalty". The longer they drag this out the more news comes out, and it's ALL bad press. Absolutely nothing positive is coming out of this scandal.
The SMU level death penalty will never happen again, for better or worse, it destroyed all DI sports at that school.

As a matter of fact.. Seems kind of strange that she is asking for a letter of reccomendation from the coach who is protecting her so called attacker?
See the article posted above. She reported this back in 2014 so it's not like she is coming out from the woods all of a sudden. And I'm no doctor, but those seem like strange bruises for falling out of a car. I have no idea who this chick is but her story corroborates what she told police 2 years ago. I'd be more skeptical of this is the first we have heard about it. As far as the LOR, doesn't sound like she was pissed at Lebby or that he necessarily protected the player, just saying that she texted him about it and he knew.
