The Sixers btw have like 30 millions on cap as today, this including 5 millions of unguaranted contracts (Grant, Canaan, Covington, Marshall, McConnell) which they can cut...since i don't think a lot of (good) players are going to sign there, i can really see them as a landing spot for Brewer if they'll be able to build some sort of decent team quickly.
dwight for bradley and amir (and filler if contracts dont match) ariza, bev, dmo for evans, cole and ajinca rockets would be at aabout 76m. leaves enough cap space to sign a center to about 15/16m per. bradley / cole / goude harden / kj evans / beasley / dekker amir / harrel bysmack / caprla ofc bysmack will get max offers but he takes a small paycut down to the 15-17m range, he gets to play on a promisng team in the stacked west and with one of th ebest players in the league. he'll have to consider it
Sign Lin, Parsons, Evan Turner, Jared Dudley Resign DMo Trade for Nerlens Noel or Okafor using picks and end of rotation players Trade Ariza and Brewer for S&T Horford Lin/Bev Harden/Turner Parsons/Dudley Horford/DMo Okafor/Capela
you expect philly to trade noel or okafor and not recieve at lest two of ariza, bev, and dmo in return? kj, harrel, beasley, dekker, goudelock are the only end rotatoini players on contract next season. the expirings are smoove and jones and terry for cheap s&t. surely they'll have better offers than the horse sht you came up with lol

Love for Dwight S&T -We get great value for someone who is going to leave anyways -CLE gets an enforcer and a great finisher inside to complete their team -Dwight gets the chance to win every single year (the only way his rep can be repaired imo)
Not a bad idea, but idk how i feel about K. Love eating up 20 mill for the next 4 seasons... I guess it's better than Horford taking 25-30...
Horford can play and defend two positions though, you don't have to bench him cause the other team scores free on him or cause he can't play the 5 in small ball lineups. The only thing Love does better than Horford is taking a couple of rebounds, and he does because he's always under the basket and not close to his man.
true, he cant play the 5. that is a huge problem with Love and why i was apprehensive about that one. Maybe they pull in a third and fourth... What's up Philly and Atlanta? Dwight to Cleveland Noel to Atlanta Teague and Horford to Houston Love to Philly I know it makes no sense for Philly, but maybe they could sweeten the pot with Brewer HA
How about Howard to Cavs Teague, Love to Houston Capela, Harrell and future 1st to Atlanta Sign Horford or whoever we want through free agency.
But at this point who will be our center? Horford as a longtime starter at the 5 is not the answer. And honestly, i would never trade Capela (also with a 1st and Harrell) for the rental of a good (and that's it) player looking to get paid in the offseason with the biggest cap ever like Teague... That said, i was ok with trading for Love time ago, but at this point i think i really don't want him at all...he forces you to play with two bigs and at the same time to eat his terrible defense...i really don't know, i'm almost at the point where i would prefer Anderson (i'm not, just saying)...if you decide to lock your team to one of these two guys, you better be ready to get abused in the matchup and to be forced to play two bigs or take them out, and all this for what? Cause they can shoot the 3 at 35/36%? Meh...in our case would be really bad cause sooner or later we would have to play the Warriors, the Spurs and OKC so, Green, Barnes/Kawhi/Durant at the 4...
We will trade for picks not players and draft our new team from THIS draft. We need a lot of role players on minimal contracts ie Ariza,Capela and Bev. DMo used to fit but his payday is due much like Parson a few years back. DM and the 09 draft (flat draft) will happen again. I for see Ariza & Bev (nonfit w/ new coach) moved for picks and to dump Brewer. Trade partners --> Boston, NOP & Bucks --> they have a lot of picks. "The DM Way" -A lot of $ by dropping ALL talent that is not on a long term contract for a FA that is not coming. --> over pay if they do -Draft, D league --> Drop
This isn't trade talk, but how do you feel about Gasol in Free Agency? I feel like everyone is so focused on Horford that they are forgetting that the rockets have wanted Pau for a longer time than they have wanted Ryan Anderson. Gasol would not only be cheaper than Horford (IMO) but he is also better player (IMO). Also, a Gasol/DMO (off the bench. start Beasley) front court would be interesting to say the least. Driving Lanes for Days! Gasol/Capela Beasley/DMO KD/Ariza Harden/KJ Bev Dump Brewer and pick up a PG. Now, that's a squad.
I like Pau, he's still a great player, he'll also be cheaper than other good/very good players like you said, that's why i would be kinda ok with him. I just do not agree that he's better than Horford, probably he can still score better in the paint, but overall Horford is the guy to pick right now, defensively he's way better than Pau who has never been good defensively, and it's not like at this point of his career he's going to be better...he's old, he must play the 5, and without a very solid sistem around you're going to pay his presence defensively...anyway i just think the Spurs will go hard after him, he's perfect for them and with Duncan (retiring or not) basically done they need a center.
All very valid points. I haven't seen many Bulls games the past couple of seasons, so i guess i am thinking of a younger version of Pau.
