Just go get em tomorrow. If we can just take the next two out of three it would be great for confidence.

Okay....whatever you say....imo it's just hard to put positive spin on this series with the Rangers from an Astros perspective.

I'm just tired of seeing the bulk of our best players no show every game against the Rangers. They need to start a fight like the 2004 team did in Chicago. Just something to show more fire. They come alive against everyone else but their supposed rivals.

If they lost 100 in a row by 1 run they would not be getting dominated in Nimo's mind.

It's a loss. You don't need a positive spin. But you definitely don't need a sky is falling spin either.

I don't get what anyone gets from "they're so much better than us. Not only did we lose this game, we've lost the last 4598 games against them. We suck. They're the best ever". It's one loss. And it doesn't change the incredible run the home team has been on the past month or so.

Absolutely. If I lose 4-3 tonight, I'm going in to tomorrow's game believing I'm going to win. Even if its the 100th loss in a row. However, if I've been shut out for just 5 games, I'm thinking "I can't hit their pitchers" or "I can't get them out". That's domination.

    Wow...perfect gif for Gomez.

Tripping over himself...flailing to get balance...literally swinging out of his helmet.....

What's up with Gomez? Just trying to swing the ball and him himself out of his socks...dude is trying too hard.

This looks like the definition of domination to me.

jeez dude give it a rest - there is no planet that exists where someone can say things like that in regards to a team that has lost 15 out of 17 going back to last season. if the goal is to win the division and make noise in the playoffs then at some point we'll have to start beating this team. each game - as they are - equal a collection of losses to our biggest rival. you don't get a gold star for losing close games.

It's not just the fact that we lose, but the way we lose. Whether it's rough odor getting into a verbal fight with Konger and then proceeding to own us (as he did last year), or McCullers going out and getting bombarded in the first inning in Arlington and us having to go to our pen, or Prince Fielder going from .183 to .350 when he plays against us, and the mental mistakes... It's very obvious to anyone who's been watching the last couple of years that there's no moral victory in close losses anymore. This is a mental cluster**** for the entire Astros organization.

When is AJ Hinch going to step up and say something? Is Carlos Gomez the new Chris Carter, i.e. The guy that gets hundreds of unproductive at bats before a change?

I am at the point where I am questioning the heart is this organization. You can't get beat this many times, the way we get beat, and just walk off the field like it's another day at the office.

It's time for Hinch to go Bobby Knight on this team. It's time for players to start calling each other out. And don't give me the crap about that not being healthy for the team, because what they're doing now is completely broken.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing things the same way expecting different results. Well this is definitely insanity. Pretending there's not a problem against the Rangers is not working, it's time to call a spade a spade, light a fire under some asses, and fix this.

I honesty hope Keuchel gets lit up and the Rangers drop 30 on the Astros tomorrow. Because at least then, maybe someone in the organization will finally admit there's a problem and we can fix this train wreck. Because that's what it is at this point.

I love my Astros, but I can't watch this mind**** anymore.

Hindsight is obviously 20/20 but I wish we would have seen Harris against the meat of their order.

You wont find a bigger stros fan than me. Been thru the rough yrs.

But the truth hurts. Rangers own them until further notice.

You would think eventually those 1-run games would balance out. But I think that is more reflective of how unsteady the Astros bullpen has been over the past few years rather than the just an aspect of luck.

Are there some potential above-avg relievers in the farm system? Or is Luhnow trying to make them all starting pitchers still?

Or maybe one of the Astros can pull a Pedro, and say “What can I say. Just tip my hat and call the Rangers my daddy.”

Then the Stros could follow that by multiple years of great ball and multiple WS titles....
