Again, it's not just this game. The Rangers have had ridiculous success for a good while against the Astros and are 15-2 against them over he last 17. That's absolutely ridiculous and hard to suck that bad against another team if your team isn't suppose to suck. It's hard to feel the Astros are close to the Ranger in any way.
Don't you worry guys, the Cubs will take care of the Rangers in the 3 game series next month at Wrigley. That should help you guys a bit. Hopefully in the process the Cubs sign someone to take out Odor at 2nd base.
Carlos Correa has been very disappointing this season, both at the plate and in the field. It looks like he's overrated. I'm becoming increasingly doubtful that he has what it takes to be a top-tier shortstop at the major league level.
Wow talk about the worst kind of reaction post. You couldn't possibly be more wrong. It's amazing how when the Astros win nobody post but when they lose all these idiots from the GARM start trolling.
They have one. Or at minimum an upgrade over what we have. The front office places their concern on his salary a decade from now rather than putting the best possible team on the field now unfortunately. Something about making their bed and laying in it or whatnot.
Trade?! Might get a set of used batting practice baseballs. Gomez at bat tonight(and most nights): Spoiler

He's about that life...and I like it.
So after 99 games last year you were probably thinking MVP this year, and after 57 games this year your thinking overrated. Seems legit. His numbers are down, particularly his slugging, and his SOs are up, but I still believe in the 21 year old's talent. How about we give him some more games and a legit cleanup man behind him and then let's talk.

You do realize a number of those games were close, right? I understand the frustration but you really have to look at each game as it is. So if the Astros win the rest of the series, they still suck because of what happened a month ago?
Saying they are at least close seems like taking the moral victory approach which is not what a supposedly contending team should be doing. The SERIES between these two teams has been DOMINATED by the Rangers. It's really no other way to look at it. If the Astros somehow win the rest of the games in this series that would be a good start in being respectable against this team but as of right now, Rangers are far ahead of the Astros.
It is not a moral victory. I made that statement in response to the domination claim. If they are close, it means that they could win tomorrow. If anyone in the Astros locker room is thinking like you are, they need to be benched.
