That bobble by Correa, failed chances by Springer in big spots, Gomez being Gomez, Fiers with a weak first inning, etc., the team is just mentally shook against the Rangers. It's frustrating because it's not much hope for the division with them being so mentally weak against their main foe in the division.

How can you say Giles did his job? Of course Correa should have turned the double play but Giles also should have gave up the single in the first place and then the winning RBI. Too many to spread the blame: Fiers, Marwin, Feliz, Correa, and Giles.

Of course part of this is on Giles. He gave up a double to Odor to lose the game. He'll be the first to tell you that it's on him. It's on Correa for messing up the double play as well. Fielders pick up pitchers all the time and sometimes the pitchers have to recover from mistakes in the field. He did not.

Mazara is doing a decent Correa impression in his first year. He's also benefitting from having a HoF batting behind him. Correa make some mistakes on defensive end but he also came off a stretch of winning several games for the team. Can't get them all.

If you really mean it, you should put money where your mouth is and bet somebody (namely Vegas) and receive a ginormous return.

Feel free to post evidence of your winnings.

Stros will win at least one game this series, I think.

I don't understand how you can say this after a one run game that was won on the last at bat. They weren't shook when they scored 5 runs? If anything, this game proves that they are close right now. They can absolutely beat the Rangers. Will they? We will find out but tonight wasn't the case of one team dominating the other

I wonder how smoothly the talk with Correa will go about the necessary move to 3B.

So when can we trade Gomez? Man did he look horrible at the plate today. We went back to his old ways pretty quick.

Luhnow has to find a quality MLB 1st baseman.

The MarGo's/ White etc.... are flat out awful. He** drag out the ghost of Lyle Overbay or Mark Grace. Atleast I know they could field the ball and drive in a run with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs.
