Whole image isn't showing, but sounds like OTL is gonna break a story of 2 separate gang rapes by Baylor football players. Ashley Hodge is a Baylor 247 guy.
Would you trust a president named Leslie? Easy trivia question: Which president was born with the name Leslie before changing it to something else? First person to get it right gets repped. Does anyone have more details on a potential new story from OTL on Baylor?
[rQUOTEr]This week, I spoke to Paula Lavigne from ESPN’s “Outside the Lines.” She told me of at least four women that she knows of, personally, who have yet to come forward with allegations of assault at Baylor. Their alleged attackers are football players who haven’t been named. As bad as it is at Baylor, the ugliness could be far from over. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, who also joined my satellite radio show this week, said Baylor coaches could face criminal charges, including obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence, as a result of their attempts to cover up these crimes or hinder investigations. http://gridironnow.com/college-football-ignoring-voices-victims-abuse-like-mine/[/rQUOTEr]
It's called journalism and it's how stories are broken. This stuff would still be going on if it wasn't because of ESPN and Texas Monthly. It's pathetic that a "reporter" who exclusively covers the school didn't know this was going on and is trashing the journalists that are good at their jobs. I'm guessing that the victims want justice and for people to hold the program responsible for their actions. They can also sensor the names but things can always come out.
According to 247, 70 coaches have inquired about the Baylor HC position including the agents of Herman and Malzahn BUT the media said nobody wanted Baylor
Why wouldn't it be? You're talking about an opening that will pay you 4-5 MM annually. Herman makes 2.8 as an example.
It makes total sense. The next coach will be hired in about 6 months. You better believe that talks have already started.
The Baylor job is going to be very attractive. In the center of the recruiting hotbed of Texas, amazing facilities. Briles was the 3rd highest paid coach in the nation behind Saban and Meyer so we are not afraid to open up the checkbook.
