Really poor approach to the plate throughout the line up today. A pitcher comes off the DL and they aren't even forcing to throw strikes. Take some pitches, look like you have a gameplan.
It is one thing to not score runs. It is another thing to completely bail him out by swinging at crap and not making him throw strikes... especially when he is on a pitch count and their bullpen has been destroyed the last two days.
Eesh. Gray, Lewis and Hammels. Thats one way to cool off a team. Especially when you toss a Mike Fiers and a Keuchal who is a shell of himself.
