Nah, the media is spitballing. They have no idea what *KD's* intentions are. We don't know his motivations or what things are important to him moving forward. I think KD stays. BUT, not having Houston mentioned as a viable landing spot shows how the media looks at Houston as trash. I see the media talk up Boston's cap space, Lakers cap space etc. The media NEVER mentions that Houston "already has a star on hand in Harden" and can add KD and another star. They can create that scenario but it NEVER gets mentioned. They mention Miami, but not Houston. That's all the media.
Disagree....No elite player at age 30, who has not won a championship, is looking to play for a non-trusted GM and a star who prioritizes clubbing and partying with the Kardashians over winning titles. Rockets have not even done anything relevant since 1994 (22 years). We need to wake and realize who we are to the outside world. We are no longer a desired destination for top free agents and our chase of ignoring players who could help the team for itting the lottery with Superstars has cost us dearly.
Who really cares? Every big FA according to the Media is considering the Lakers or New York every single year.
Proof on this? Durant's own words is that he likes how aggressive the Rockets FO are. As for Harden's priorities, any proof that he cares about partying more than basketball?
I don't know, personally i just can't agree with this dude...the Lakers can sign two top players, not sure they can sign three...maybe if they trade/cut everybody except Russell and Randle but what then? Can they play in 5? And btw there are no superstars in this free agency except Durant himself so, even if they can sign two big names with him, they'll still be worse than us since they can't pair him with a superstar like Harden (which is also his friend and they know they can play together). Durant wants to win, he doesn't give a **** about being in LA and babysit a couple of rookies...also, the Lakers have a bad managment, i mean, it's probably one of the worse 2/3 in the league right now...
Plauers don't are about going to play for the lakers anymore. They all hang out there in the summer forsure but that doesn't mean they want to play there. It's like NYK when's the last time they were any good outside of that one season with Melo that they won 50+ games? Yet the media always has them as a top destination. It doesn't matter were u play anymore because there's this thing called the Internet that everyone has its on everyone's phones for Christs sake. KD will give Houston a strong look I can guarantee that. And what's up with all the harden agenda that him and KD arnt close? That's hilarious. These guys have don't espn Sunday conversations about missing watch other. When durant pulled uut of the Olympics he told James before anyone. There extreamly tight. I'm not saying him and russ army great friends either but Iv never read any article or seen any interview talking about there friendship like the ones harden and KD have done.
Went to Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles afterward. <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="7" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);"><div style="padding:8px;"> <div style=" background:#F8F8F8; line-height:0; margin-top:40px; padding:50.0% 0; text-align:center; width:100%;"> <div style=" background:url(data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAACwAAAAsCAMAAAApWqozAAAABGdBTUEAALGPC/xhBQAAAAFzUkdCAK7OHOkAAAAMUExURczMzPf399fX1+bm5mzY9AMAAADiSURBVDjLvZXbEsMgCES5/P8/t9FuRVCRmU73JWlzosgSIIZURCjo/ad+EQJJB4Hv8BFt+IDpQoCx1wjOSBFhh2XssxEIYn3ulI/6MNReE07UIWJEv8UEOWDS88LY97kqyTliJKKtuYBbruAyVh5wOHiXmpi5we58Ek028czwyuQdLKPG1Bkb4NnM+VeAnfHqn1k4+GPT6uGQcvu2h2OVuIf/gWUFyy8OWEpdyZSa3aVCqpVoVvzZZ2VTnn2wU8qzVjDDetO90GSy9mVLqtgYSy231MxrY6I2gGqjrTY0L8fxCxfCBbhWrsYYAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC); display:block; height:44px; margin:0 auto -44px; position:relative; top:-22px; width:44px;"></div></div> <p style=" margin:8px 0 0 0; padding:0 4px;"> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BGSoBHmgYii/" style=" color:#000; font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:17px; text-decoration:none; word-wrap:break-word;" target="_blank">#JamesHarden#KevinDurant#atwork✌</a></p> <p style=" color:#c9c8cd; font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:17px; margin-bottom:0; margin-top:8px; overflow:hidden; padding:8px 0 7px; text-align:center; text-overflow:ellipsis; white-space:nowrap;">A photo posted by @hilqueen23 on <time style=" font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:17px;" datetime="2016-06-05T23:20:37+00:00">Jun 5, 2016 at 4:20pm PDT</time></p></div></blockquote> <script async defer src="//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js"></script>
I hope people don't look to much into this. Harden and KD are very close. They work out together a lot. Nothing to see here
