So many upsets in UFC of late.

I still think Anderson is the greatest fighter of all time... I would take prime Silva over anyone else in their prime. He is a bad bad man

 

Silva was GOAT, but I preferred watching Wanderlei Silva.

 

Hunt would KO Brock. It's going to hurt his image in WWE if it happens.

 

I mean isn't Brock already on a losing streak in UFC? Its all about money, so honestly i wouldn't be surprised if this fight is worked.

He's been banned for life. His colleague and the best MMA photographer, Esther Lin, has also been banned.

I guess UFC can't tolerate having some small beans operator out reporting their partners at Fox and ESPN. Wonder who Helwani pissed off (first fired and now this).

 

To be fair, the 2nd loss(in what you'd consider a losing streak) was to a roided up Overeem.

 

Disgusting by Dana and Zuffa.
All because Ariel didn't bring his intel about Brock's return to them first before he went public with it. So because Ariel didn't give them the opportunity to say "no comment", they decided to toss him out and ban him?
F'king disgusted. I hope every MMA journo boycotts them and gives them no coverage until they do the right thing.

Helwani just said that Dana White told him Lorenzo Fertitta made the call to ban him from the UFC.

Also he was having trouble with diverticulitis which really can be brutal. I think the first loss was due to him being overconfident in his ability to stand up....an ability he doesn't really have. The second loss was on being sick and not being able to properly train.

I'm really interested to see him one more time. If he sticks to the ground and doesn't try to stand up against Hunt I think it could be a very good fight of opposing styles. Hunt murders Lesnar standing up, Lesnar murders Hunt on the ground or in the grasp.

 

Just saw that Kimbo Slice died.

 

RIP Kimbo... Nobody should go at 42.

 

Sad to hear that Kimbo passed away. I still remember he and Gina Carano were on the same fight card on a National TV Network and made MMA more popular.

Also on the situation with Helwani banned from UFC, I think he should start his own show on HBO or Showtime like what Bill Simmons is doing right now.
