May as well add Reed in too if you're talking about future.

    I'm talking about current though.

Current, we don't have another player to bat in top 3 over springer

I think Bregman could be up this year, same with Reed

Cangrejero for Astros manager. I'm starting the campaign right here. We'd never lose a game!

You would've preferred a big white guy or Canadian flag instead. Even weirder.

We don't need someone like Ron Washington hitting lines in the dugout.

I've watched this about 10 times and I can't stop laughing

The way Altuve has to jump up to steal Marisnick's hat and the way Jake chases after him. Too funny

Nice win. Is it me or have we had a lot of extra inning games this season...at least lately.

    6-3 in extra innings (?)

Love the walkoffs, and Correa again. But the one negative....Luke with another blown save.

Was at the game today and saw the whole thing with the streaker. Very patriotic fan to say the least, and I couldn't tell if it was a woman or a man. lol

This needs addressing or there will be fewer future high moments like this.

I honestly cannot believe this team is already back up to 3 games under. Realistically thought it would take until the ASB to get to this point.

I still think this team is in big trouble. Their offense has been bailing their starting pitching which has been awful other than Fister, but how long can they sustain that?

Over the last 30 days the Astros have the 6th best starters ERA in the AL, and that's with their "ace" posting a 5.87 ERA over that stretch. To piggyback on that, we also have the 4th best FIP and 2nd best xFIP over that stretch. Basically the entire rotation except for Keuchel has been very solid, giving us a good chance to win just about every game. (team record is 20-13 over last 33, Keuchel starts we're 2-5, 18-8 in the other starts).Even Keuchel is showing some signs of life over his last few starts, although he's still having issues avoiding the one bad inning.

If you've been paying attention, the rotation stabilizing is the biggest part of our improvement over the first month.

Although it would be remiss to not mention our bullpen filth over that stretch. 2nd best ERA in baseball, most K/9 and fewest BB/9 (think about that). Easily leading in FIP, xFip and WAR. Our WAR is almost 2x as high (3.5 to 1.8) as the 3rd place team.
