Making contact...not that hard. 3 guys...all failed. You cant play to matchups every single at bat, it doesnt work that way unless you have 67 people on the roster on game day.

 

Giles has not even earned the 8th inning yet, Harris has earned 8th and 9th, so I would go with Harris. All that said, because the team is still under .500, we ultimately want Giles to close in the playoffs, and he's pitching well, I think it's ok to give him first look to see how it goes.

the oakland announcers were fun to listen to yesterday. today they're an annoyance.

 

This. Rasmus and Valbuena failed to get the extra run in at the bottom of the 8th but Gregerson being put in was inexcusable after all of his blown saves and having better options in the pen right now.
