His dad called what his son did as 20 minutes of action. He nor the judge get it.

 

The judge probably thought of how torn up his ******* would be after a ballpark of 6 months and called it a case of affluenza.

 

He will probably be protected in county. I feel sorry for the victim

Against people of color period. If your facial bone structure or skin color isn't within the norm, expect harsh treatment.

That letter his father wrote was disgusting and the 6 months is way too lenient for what he did. However, one thing I don't agree with our current justice system is the life sentence that sexual offenders serve, regardless of jail time. There are two crimes which people server life sentences for in this country and that is sexual offenses and DUI.

Unless "influence" is exerted, this kid will never work at any Fortune 500 company that I know of. Every company background checks now and DUIs and sexual offenses will stop the hiring process immediately. Neighborhoods can ban him from living there. Apartments that background check can deny him from renting. I think there may even be consequences when/if he ever has any kids. He'll be serving a life sentence, so at some level the jail time doesn't even matter for him, it's just the message that a lenient 6 month sentence sends to society in general.
