Clyde's word has no credibility whatsoever based on his tv commentaries. He is the most biased and illogical commentator I've ever watched. I can't even watch Rockets local telecast solely because of him. Hence I have to watch the opponents telecasts whenever I can!
This is not what anyone is saying though!! The point some people are trying to make is that you can excuse some of Harden's lapses, because he has to carry a crazy load on offense - a load nobody on any playoff team has to carry. Of course Harden needs to improve defensively and try to stay focused on that end at all times. Also it would have helped if we had a proper defensive scheme in place (even teams with bad defenders can be tops in the league as a team). At times guys were switching everything and then just seemed to forget who their man was. You can blame Harden for his defensive lapses at times, but a good defensive scheme needs to be put in place by the coaching staff first. Hopefully this will happen next season with JB in charge of the defense :grin: The point about Howard, Howard didn't defend well this season. His main job is to be a defensive anchor, and he wasn't that. Harden's main job is to run the offense and he did that. Harden,even with his defensive flaws was still a pretty big net+, while Howard wasn't.
Same thing for coaching. You cant split both sides and demand respect. To make matters worse, the GM trades without the consent of the coach. Its all about trust and respect and we have none

Come on guy, I thought you knew by now. If someone, anyone, has something positive to say about Harden, they don't know what they are talking about. Or if it's someone that people on clutchfans wouldn't dare try to refute you always have the "well you actually expect so and so to say something bad about James in the media?" excuse. hard to change perceptions. harden is the worst defensive basketball player ever to lace them up. Its up to him to change that. that frivolous argument then seeps into his offensive aesthetic and then all of a sudden drawing fouls becomes a bad thing too and an urban legend is born.
Weird. Another person touting Harden's passing ability as more than just "ok". No mention of assist to turnover ratio either. Coach K must have no idea what he's talking about.
