I remember seeing a video about him once where he was addicted to candy. Same thing just stronger. I hope he overcomes this.

Sad. Does he care about his kids at all? The media isn't helping either.

Nobody said it's easy to overcome.....but that also doesn't mean I have to feel some form of deep empathy for someone who has been given chance after chance to try and take steps towards fixing his problems. I feel bad for him, and if/when his lifestyle finally catches up to him, I'll remember the good times he had in LA. However, right now, it's clear that no amount of help or intervention is going to get him on the right path towards being a good father and mentor for people around him. It's barely been a year since he was on his deathbed....if that's not a wake-up call, nothing is.

I'm surprised at all the jokes in this thread. Yes, it seems like he's ****ing up again, but this is life and death. I also understand not giving a **** about him since he's 'doing it to himself', but to joke about a potentially dying man is unnecessary.

This is the sad truth, but it applies to everyone - Man, Woman, Child.

Unless you've dealt with it you'd have no idea.

Problem with addiction in this country is we view it criminally instead of as a disease. Until we overcome that immaturity we are going to sit back and chastise people like Odom instead of viewing him as someone who is fighting a disease. You don't see people saying "**** it, he's got heart disease and had a burger, he's dead to me."
