Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 20 points, their fewest in a game they both played in over last 2 seasons.

The Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Clippers would all beat the imo.

To be fair, I've always thought the Cavs/Heat were overrated because of the pathetic east. I'm also a Pacers fan so I'm bias.

I don't think the Cavs aren't very good just because the Warriors beat their ass. I just think the Warriors are great and the Cavs are above average.

Cavs don't even look like they have a game plan. Half the time, they look lost out there and lost their man on defense. They overcrowded Curry and Klay but don't have the interior defenders to make up for the GSW roll man. Not to mention at least 3-4 times this game, they got confused on simple switches and Curry was able to draw two defenders with a simple cut and they left Green/Iggy/Barnes wide open at the 3.

I still laugh at the people saying Curry is privileged. From Davidson to NBA mvp and best per in the league. His team won 73 games of course he has a good supporting cast. Nobody thought he won 73 games by himself. Especially in the west. And while Curry doesn't talk about making 10 million a year on his way to back to back mvps, back to back championships, Lebron claims he should be the highest paid athlete in all of sports. He makes enough in endorsement money that he doesn't need to opt out every year and take the max available under the cap but he does so anyways. He has made it known he wants to be a billionaire and he won't leave a million dollars on the table. That's his problem, not Curry's. Only losers themselves blame Curry for winning while they defend Lebron, the loser himself who is a greedy pig suckling at the teat for every last drop. Anyone who uses the term privilege in any conversation is somebody to be laughed at. Using it in basketball when players as a whole are privileged to make what they do to play what is ultimately a meaningless game and a form of entertainment. They get paid millions to play growing up for fun and they get to do it because they were born taller, could run faster, jump higher etc. Playing pro sports is a privilege within itself and I'm not going to complain about it. For the people who are intellectually lazy enough to spout off non-sense about Curry being privileged though, the irony is lost considering the game itself and the salary that comes with it is a privilege, played by guys who are physically gifted due to genes which isn't earned but inherited. Somehow there are people here who think Curry making 10 to Lebron's 25 and having a better roster under a capped system is privileged. What a bunch of dolts.

I was talking to my girl about this.

    I'm a big lebron guy.

But reality is these CAVS prob wouldnt have gotten out of the 2nd round the last two years.

Lebrons heat teams were legit because bosh and Wade are much better than Irving and love not to mention lebron was in his absolute prime. I think we kinda forget how good lebrons first 2 years in Miami were he litterlly shot 60% for like 15 staright games.

The east is just weak. It been like that for over 15 years now. This year rockets team would have had a legit chance against any team out east except the cavs. Think about that for a second.

    Beautiful!

To summarize, people who are Lebron fan's are losers. Why? Because Lebron is a loser. Clear evidence

The Cavaliers are probably the fourth-best team in the NBA, largely because their defense isn't up to the par of the Warriors, Spurs and Thunder (at least, based on the defense the Thunder played in the playoffs).

The Warriors can get incredibly cold-shooting nights from both Curry and Thompson and still win by 15. The Cavaliers would get routed if James and Irving had awful games, because they can't shut the other team down, collectively.

It also goes to show the Warriors aren't simply a "jump-shooting team." A jump-shooting team loses badly when their foremost gunners are cold. The Warriors have many paths to victory. The Cavaliers have one path to victory: being hot on offense AND the Warriors being cold AND the Warriors having a bad defensive night.

If Lue became as white as Michael Jackson, as blind as Ray Charles and as perverted as Billy Cosby...

IF players like Livingston and Barbosa hit 70% of their shots (and most of Livingston's were contested), Cavs have zero chance.

Hopefully they step up. but if the Warriors bench plays like that every game this ends in 5

Yup. I'm actually surprised that this wasn't made abundantly obvious by the Warriors winning the two regular season match-ups by an average of about 20 PPG. Irving and Love are starrier names than Dellavedova and T. Thompson, but playing one pair over the other is robbing Peter to pay Paul...you kill your defense to soup up your offense. Not a winning trade against a tremendous two-way team.

Westbrook showed the world that you have to RELENTLESSLY attack the middle.

OKC lost because they fell in love with the jump shot

They also have to BUMP Curry early and often . .. keep bumping him
post him up . . make him use STRENGTH not speed

You might be a bit dependent on the Refs to call those fouls but I think it is the best bet

    Wooot!!!! HELL YEAH!!! go Warriors!!

Bet enough on this game to pay for my game 2 tickets! EASY MONEY BABY!!!

To tell yall the truth though, I was nervous because I put in my bet at 6.5 when it was 5.5 just 5 or six hours before.

Not sure what to bet for game 2 yet, but we'll see. Lets go dubs!
