Jeff Bzdelik as possibly our defensive AC - Thoughts?

Sampson used to look at players in disgust. Yell. Make fun of the schemes publicly. That's what I want in a DC. Someone who seemingly hates their life at all times. Thibs gave off the same vibe when he was here.

Give me that.

If Bzdelik looks miserable and calls out players and states publicly the he doesn't necessarily love the offensive philosophy - then I'll like him.

You don't have to agree and play good soldier. Tension can be good. And with someone as cocky (for no reason) as D'Antoni seems to be, God knows we'll need someone strong minded fighting the good fight when needed.

Well he was tremendous at throwing college kids under the bus when his college teams underperformed. Saw that with Wake, saw many others coming out of the weeds to say the same from his prior stops. Unfortunately that underperforming was quite a lot. Fortunately there will only be a handful of times he'll be asked to opine on why from the assistant's chair. Hard to know how he'd mesh with peer coaches in Houston however.

Good thing he won't be a head coach and won't be coaching in college. Some of the best assistant coach were bad head coaches or were never cut out for being the head coach. Alvin Gentry, Ron Adams and Tex Winters come to mind.

In his press conference he said he will hold individual players responsible on d but I doubt he can control harden. He may have had more of a say under pat Riley but here in Houston the whole organization caters to harden.
