Hinch "thinks" K is the same pitcher form last year, and he is WRONG. Imagine, he pitched great today but at the end, his ERA was 4.50 for today. Now, i remember my "beloved pest" dishing me when i said that we should had gone after Greinke and he gave me "numbers", well, today we saw a "real" number 1 starter and he was not pitching for the Astros. K has become a number 3, and right now he is our worse starter.
Most of the time when a starter comes out, he just gave up a run(s) Keuchel was pretty good today and last time out, still not the Keuchel of old though
People, I said he has a knack for doing it. I'm not blaming Hinch for going with him in the 7th. I'm just saying, every time he does, Keuchel loses it. Just a strange thing that happens.
This bird sometimes... My word. People choose the only two (possible) losses as this one isn't over yet out of our last ten games to come out and say what AJ did to blow the game for us. The other games AJ must have stI'll been terrible, but the players just saved him by out playing his terrible decisions. I'm not saying AJ is perfect by any means, but we are likely to be 8-2 over our last ten. Must be tough.
Agree, it was not a nice outing, when you give 3 runs in 6 innings is good for average pitchers, but not for Cy Young guys. K is just average right now, and our worse starter. His fastball is only 88-89, he is NOT the same pitcher. He has become a number 3-4 starter. Hinch should know better and after 6 have guys ready because K is just not good so far this year.
I have seriously no clue what you're trying to say... but it basically sounds like, "Dallas inevitably struggles late in the game, and Hinch has to pull him". Again, you're basically calling him out for letting him start the 7th.... after going 6 scoreless with less than 100 pitches. I have no idea what the "strange thing" or the "knack" you're referring to is... other than Keuchel has to struggle/give up runs before getting pulled.. like most pitchers.
Greinke's ERA was over 4.50 before this game started... And you're trying to brag by saying we should have thrown our money at him? So he pitches a good game and that justifies his other rough outings? Shame we didn't sign him for this one game!
After those 2 HARD HIT BALLS, i would only give him 1 more batter, Hinch gave him 2, and cost us 2 runs. Bad manager.
