Most of the hate is pure jealousy. He has a seemingly perfect, charmed life and salty people with chitty lives don't like it. They see in him everything they are not, and everything they'll never have.
That is a little deeper and darker than I was going for but same notion haha. I got in an argument and he asked why I couldn't stand Curry and my best answer was Draymond Green. Take out Green and Bogut and they are probably the most like-able truly GREAT teams that I can remember watching in any sport.
And less pretentious than someone who tattoos 'Chosen 1' on their back. But the thing is, with the amount of success that individuals like Lebron and Curry have experienced, they couldn't give two ****s that some clutchfans posters think hey are 'pretentious'.
So you argue that only in American English that spelled is the only "acceptable" spelling but at the same time call a person pretentious simply because of how they spell their name? So are many african american/asian americans and many other people who spell their name differently and apparently "incorrectly" to you, pretentious?
he worked his ****ing ass off to go from an average to top 2 in the league and best shooter of all time. Maybe he should come into training camp overwieght, flail his arms for fouls and try focusing on a hollywood image more
I wonder how these people who complain about stephen currys name spell the word "Hyphen." Do they spell it Hyven? Hyvan? Hyfan?
This is like the 5th thread where there is some obvious butt hurt over Curry. If this many BBS members are that irrational when it comes to Curry, obviously, they are irrational when they judge Harden as a 'slightly below average' defender in the GARM and make 10000 excuses for him.
Why isn't anyone complaining about Wardell Stephen Curry, Second of His Name refusing to use his father's first name?
What's Harden got to do with anything? Why the assumption that those who dislike Stepphharrrn love James big bum and beard?
Maybe because Harden is also quite pretentious in using an ordinary word "harden" to be his surname, as if he wants to gloat that some of his body parts harden so frequently that he needs to capitalize the word in his name.
