Yes that statement is specifically commenting on the nature of Mchale's interview quotes, which you claimed were "anti" howard. My opinion after reading the quotes you provided was that they were not inflammatory or anti-anyone (based on those two quotes), but rather a classy response by MCHALE, about certain problems or differences without throwing anyone under the bus. If its your opinion that its "anti" howard, cool, fine even. Just explain to me how me interpreting Mchales quotes as not as inflammatory as you do, make my statement in any way about howard's comment not meaning anything, Harden hate or whatever paranoia you seem to be under.
Yeah I think its you that needs to learn to read, you also have a problem with context and logically putting things together.
Anti can also mean being opposed to a particular idea, activity, or, policy. You need to learn to read and comprehend or broaden your vocabulary a bit. So when I say he was MORE anti Dwight than anti Harden I meant in the context of how they play in conjunction with this season and how the media views this team. Mchale being a person on the inside with knowledge has had more negative things to say about Dwights game than Harden's after being fired but Harden is the one who has been getting the hardest hits on reputation. Again Dwight said he quit because he didn't get the ball in the post, Mchale said we wouldn't give him the ball in the post because he's no longer good in the post, that is a big thing.
Really? you asserted mchale made anti howard remarks in his interviews I said, interesting where? You quoted two. I disagreed and rather found them innocuous, really not too bad. from that conversation, you then accused me of thinking some comments of Howards was nothing and that I hate Harden???? You sure I'm the one with an inability for context or logic? Some Harden fans really are just like Lin fans lol.
You're slow anti simply means opposed to, or opposed to an idea or activity. Anti doesn't mean HATE or DOES NOT LIKE or EXTREME dislike. You have a problem with meanings and logically putting things together. Everything has to be spelled out for you, next time you don't know a word just go look it up.
no **** sherlock, I'm perfectly aware with the different interpretations of anti, and in MY OPINION, Mchale's were not anti howard. If you disagree COOL! the problem is how you go from a simple disagreement about the nature of Mchales comments to saying I hate harden? Think Howards comments are nothing (when I havent even mentioned it)? seriously what the F?
My one thought on the Harden came in out-of-shape was the fact that he was injured and how much that contributed to his being out of shape. I am not a Harden defender by any means, but I think that part should be dropped. His defense is fair game, although I don't think it is as bad as it is made out to be. As for his lack of leadership - definitely open for criticism.
Furthermore, how did I not understand anti-. Where did I assert that it mean dislike or hate or extreme dislike. Simply because someone disagrees with how YOU characterize a comment doesn't mean they don't understand the word... maybe shcoker! they just disagree with your opinion!
"Just to start the season off I couldn't work out like I wanted to and so I went into training camp with a bummed ankle, had to get healthy and had to kind of get in shape. It was just all of the above. It kind of messed me up -- it kind of set me back a little bit so I couldn't take care of my body and have a really good summer." -Harden I'm a guy who works out all the time. Its a carry over form being in the military and I've injured my ankle before and gained weight. Im not so sure how you think Harden is some type of super human were he should play and run on a bum ankle in order to stay in shape.
lol. Harden isn't the first person to come into training camp with a "sprained ankle" . But he is one of the few coming into the season out of shape, and after one where he thought he was the best player. He didn't work out, and he coincidentally got a huge contract and dated kartrashian. Its not that hard to put together. **** everybody on this team.
Criticizing Harden in the media, something they should not ever do. criticizing him behind closed doors, you hope so, if not this organization won't ever win a championship.
What a **** post. At least try to respond in an intelligent way. You did nothing but deny and ignore his injury and then plug in your little Kardasian jab. Your post shows that the unreasonable hate for Harden is a real thing and its kinda weird actually.
Sorry to break it to you, but your OPINION about Mchales comments being "anti" Howard is NOT a FACT. It is a characterization and an opinion. As you yourself pointed out, in the same way that anti, can be used to described opposing/opposite, it can also mean hate/dislike, so with the different meaning of "anti" how can your really declare your statement that Mchales interview comments were factually "anti" Howard as oppose to just your opinion. Regardless, you still havent answered my confusion over your charges about hating Harden and your other out of nowhere comments about Howards comment. seriously what are you talking about? simply because I disagreed with your interpretation of Mchales comments, I'm somehow wrong or guilty of these unmentioned and unrelated issues?
Ankle injuries are one of the most common injuries for basketball players. Yet why is it only James Harden who allowed himself to become overweight? In fact, plenty of players suffer worse injuries and don't get out of shape. If anything, it's their conditioning that suffers. Look at DMo. He came back from back surgery. He was rusty and had conditioning issues, but he wasn't out of shape. Also, your personal experience is irrelevant. I guarantee you that Harden has access to better resources than you do. An ankle injury shouldn't prevent him from exercising. And if he thought his training would be limited, why not modify his diet to compensate?
Pointing out that Harden is the the only player you can find that excuse for is a bad reason ? Logic would beg to disagree with you. The dude got paid, sat his ass down and came into training camp fat. Like I said, find me another situation where such a justification is made. When one side has to goto lengths to justify something, it usually tells most of the story.
Precisely my point, I feel like that alone is a solid enough statement to put a period after. Apparently SF3 seems to think that the most complex and difficult explanation is the answer. Once you have invent apply special rules for someone, and consistently at that you need to question yourself. His anke...was err out of shape. He didn't mean it when he said he plays too much to try on defense. It doesn't matter if he doesn't play on defense...look at his ts%! But...err Dwight! The rest of the league has formed an image about this guy, perhaps some objectivity would help the Harden homers here.
Players get injured all the time and don't come into the season in shape, this is a normal thing for the NBA. Its one thing if he hurt his arm and refused to run but he hurt his ankle. It's also not like Harden was fat, he wasn't in basketball shape. You do know in order to get into basketball shape you have to be able to run and play basketball right?
