Like Coach Herman says, "THEY DON'T GIVE NO TROPHIES OR RINGS FOR LEADING AT HALFTIME!!"

They don't give no trophies or rings for cumulative records over the course of a decade.

I found another in about 20 seconds of research. Avery Johnson in B2B seasons with the Mavs. 60 wins in 2006 when they reached the Finals and 67 wins the following year when they lost to the Warriors in the first round.

Jesus H, Les doesn't know sh-t about the NBA. He just pulls BS stats out of his ass.

Well D'Antoni was very well spoken. I like what I hear from him.

Really hope Bzdelik can bring some big change on defense.

Les sounded like a bumbling fool.

Nice to throw a former player under the bus like that, I'm sure that will endear himself to all those free agents.

I though the conference was a travesty, went into it wanting to be proven wrong, but it only affirmed My fears about him as a coach.

Fine, but it's a meaningless stat. We've had playoff success in only 2 of those 10 seasons and we didn't even make the postseason 3 of those years. BTW, those other 3 teams have combined for 5 of the titles won over the past decade. So I'm a little more concerned with how much we're not winning in the playoffs vs how much we are winning in the regular season.

I agree with you, I was just pointing out that the stat was correct in terms of being the third best team. All of that means nothing at the end of the day when we can't do anything with it.

Some of it was injury riddled which we don't have a hand in.

CDK you obviously have to be able to score the ball, but more importantly you've to be able to stop teams when you can't score the ball which most if not all championship teams have the ability to do.

I think we literally just saw Darly Morey castrated in front of the press.

I think Les just handed MDA the keys and Morey works for Pringles now.

Of course he CAN play that way but it's obvious from his time with LA and HOU that he doesn't want to.

I seriously doubt he opts in to his final year, especially now.

Why answer today to the critics?

Les: Media nationally gave us a bad wrap and locally too. We have the third best record in the last 10 years. You guys act like we won 10 games. We were in the playoffs. We always try to win. I'm really upset the wrap James got. Every time we interviewed a coach, the first thing they talked about was how great James was and the media was putting him down all the time, which I thought was definitely wrong.

I've owned the team for 23-24 years now so I follow the sport. I've always wanted to run.

Mike: Houston comes in, we won, and we were going like this(waving his finger back and forth) and we beat them. Les was in the hallway and I was on my way out. I was with the PR guy I think and as we passed, he said that was Mr. Alexander. I heard him over say "How come we can't play that way?"

Les: I've always wanted to play this way. Look at the top 3 teams in the West, they all play that way. If you don't play that way, you're not gonna win.

You're saying top 3 teams play this way, we need to play this way.

Les: I've said it the last 20 years, not just now.

The idea from your fans or elsewhere you're trying to outdo the Warriors at what they do.

Les: I'm not trying to outdo the Warriors. I'm playing the best way to win.

I'm fairly certain he meant active coaches. But this is definitely the thing to be pissed about.

Did Morey really say we have a roster that is strong defensive?? did he mean offensive?

Another one is George Karl with the Sonics. 63 wins in 1994. 64 wins in 1996. 61 wins in 1998.

Thibs would've been in this group had the 2012 season not been shortened by the lockout. The Bulls went 50-16 that year. That's 62 wins if you prorate it over 82 games. And he did lead them to 62 wins the year before.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were even more. The point is Les is an ignorant moron.
