you have to have balance. Even the GSW don't play fast all the time. in half court sets they are very efficient with great ball movement
The Rockets are 475-329 over the last 10 seasons for a winning percentage of 59%. That's between 48-49 wins a season if you prorate over 82 games. Now I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I know the winning percentage of every other team in the NBA over the last decade, but I have a hard time believing we're the 3rd most winning team in that timeframe when we're averaging less than 50 wins a season.
Kind of hard to argue the stats. Records since 2006-2007 season (including postseason records): 1) San Antonio: 575-233 (.712) 2) Dallas: 499-310 (.617) 3) Houston: 476-333 (.592) And 4th are the Miami Heat, who are 462-349 (.570).

Leslie Alexander had so many memorable quotes. Roy Rogers was hilarious. Interview with Murphy. He made a joke about Murphys suit
In the back of my head I get this feeling of redemption, not only for the players, but for Morey, Les, and D'Antoni as well. We're already one of the black sheep teams of the league, nobody likes or believes in us, in Morey, in D'Antoni, shoot, fans don't even believe in Les as an owner. Maybe we can pull through and turn the thing called "the corner" that everyone here likes to talk about. D'Antoni has run the Team USA offense and has some experience already with Harden from that. Perhaps the assistant coaches can get the team whipped into playing good defense and we can hit the next season running and punching the league in the mouth! #Misfits
OKC has not beaten the Spursby playing faster but actually playing slow and with 2 bigs. But it's ok. I thought Morey had more dignity.
D'Antoni is full of ****. He just said on the Sloan Sports Conference that ball stoppers aren't the best players anymore....now..it's okay and it's inevitable that the ball stops in Harden's hands. So more ISO's. Were looking at another Melo situation fellas. D'Anotni is a phony. If Les wanted to play fast, he could have interviewed a hot young coach. He just wants Suns D'Anotni and he's not going to get it without Nash, Amar'e, and Marion.
What did you learn from your other stops? (Laughing) I should have stayed with the Suns. I should have brought Nash with me. Why will this be different from Kobe/LA & Carmelo/NY? Every situation is unique. It's important I learned from it & be a better coach. I've dealt with all three from USA Basketball. In NY, 'Melo came in the middle of the year & lost half the team. Went wobbly there. Wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. The roster & Harden line up with what I want to do & how I want to play. Sorry Mike, with Trader Daryl, you'll never have a "set" roster.
