Muslims in Germany demand the right to make the University of Berlin into a mosque

ATW has been ringing this bell for years and many here have just ridiculed him for it... things are not nearly so bad here as they were there then when he first started sounding the alarm. I predicted he was seeing our future... unless we stem the tide.

 

Need to start the deportation train for those that break the law, either you fit in or you get out.

The better companion of right is responsibility. Demanding such is irresponsible and is only going to further marginalize them in the minds of Germans. Who in the hell do they think they are?

 

They want a mosque at the university or they want to turn the whole thing into a mosque?

 

The more votes and political capital they have they can do quite a bit.

 

So the facts are these:

1. Muslim students are demanding the right to pray and a space to accommodate that need because Muslims are obligated to pray 5 times a day.

2. The university is a secular state institution.

3. There is no demand whatsoever to make the entire university into a mosque.

Therefore, OP's title is quite misleading.

 

we have these at our universities, hospitals (universal chappels), highschools also. My muslims friends (on friday especially) would talk to a faculty member do their business and be done.

I don't know what it is like in Germany, and I think the muslim population over there isn't like the one here so I can't really say, but yea I doubt they are asking to turn a university into a Mosque lmao.

hmm could be true if that's the case when someone specifically pretends to pray for social causes, but for those who faithfully pray, it is just a peace of mind to have a short break from daily affairs .

as for those Muslim student, they should not protest, it is nice to have but it is not their rights or the university responsibility to offer such service

i recall in year 2000, i used to stop somewhere random on the road and pray , people mainly were nice, some would have friendly smile some wont , others would be surprised such a guy has faith lol but that's all, now days , no way i would do the same and i dont blame others either to dislike seeing it.

 

All Germans should build Mosque -- embrace sharia law -- Go Germany!
