Thought we were turning a corner there, sweep Orioles then take 2 of 3 from in-division Angels. Always one step forward, 3 steps back.

It's all on Hinch. He could have given us a better opportunity to put this game out of reach multiple times but refused to do so. Then left Gattis in there in the late innings with a pitcher who has a ton of downward movement on his slider.
HINCH IS TERRIBLE, you are winning by 1 in the 7th, you need to use Castro as sub defensively. Gattis is horrible out there. Then again, Hinch will Hinch you in close games, especially on the road.
Ump did the same thing last night with Trout up against Luke Greg, there were two strikes that could have been called but luckily it worked out anyway.
When is Hinch going to see that Feliz is pitching much better than Giles?????? Last year he did not use Feliz, and so far this year he STILL has Giles over Feliz????? Is Hinch blind?????
Giles has been pretty good all month. I don't have an issue with it. Calhoun is a pain in the ass....
Christ, dude do you seriously have to press that ****ty WHIP argument in every single game thread? We get it. Dude's got a career ~1.1 WHIP. He gives up hits and walks, but more than makes up for it with his stellar K/9. Dude pitched fine. He was getting squeezed. Cron and Trout both could've and should've gotten rung up. I'm with ya, Hinch is a below average manager, but trotting out Giles was absolutely not a mistake. Sticking with Gattis in a high leverage game with a pitcher prone to chucking it into the dirt? Now that's the mistake you should be goin' at.
