This is hilarious. Of course , most of the people that are going to respond are blind homers so job well done, apart from portraying reality of course.
Keep crying. Harden closed out the Clippers at home against 3 all stars while Durant/Westbrook shat the bed. https://youtu.be/k3h2FVHBGck
I think the biggest difference between them is when Harden wants it, he'll get it. When Russ wants it he'll hit a ceiling and mess up.
Weird statements to make when talking about someone who had some absolute brick&turnover fests in the playoffs (12 TO , remember?) and also just came off an all-time turnover record. And Harden isn't throwing up terrible shotsshots, what? Your whole paragraph about good on some nights, but bricking and out of control on other nights, not consistent over a playoff run exactly applies to Harden as well. And I think we all know why you left defense out of the equation.
If you think that Harden was a mess this year, put the emotional tornado that is Russell Westbrook with this Rox roster (aka the gang that can't shoot straight) and see what you get. Russell would be impossible , he would hate Dwight Howard, and probably wouldn't ride on the bus with these guys either. Difference is you'd see in-game explosions on the bench and public statements made in the media. Russell has played with an alien (Durant) every year and still struggles to keep his emotions in check. Put him on this Rox squad and everyone would hate him after his implosion out of sheer frustration.
Yeah there was a moment after the game where you see KDs face and it looks just fed fup. Westbrook cost the game last night, i think kds has grown tired of the erratic behavior. Would not be surprised if KD leaves and comes back to Texas.
4 TO's in the last 90 seconds in the game, 0 assists in the 4th, woeful defense letting Curry get hot by leaving him wide open & kept trying to draw fouls instead of finish plays. Harden would've got massacred on here but the grass is always greener on the other side on Clutchfans.
Sure, he's the top free agent out there. Yet, almost everyone has cap room, so I'd show interest, but I'd rather have two or three good players rather than one more megastar.
Westbrook was bad at the end. KD was bad for the entire game, including the end. For most of that game OKC had good contributions from Westbrook, Ibaka, Kanter, Adams. If KD played a decent game instead of getting of getting shut down by Iguodala OKC would have won this game easy.
The same Harden / Rockets, who've won as many games against GSW in the playoffs, in the last two postseasons as the Thunder, this series? Clippers are definitely not on the same level as the Warriors, so your argument is moot.
We or they should not fault one player for the loss, that's the difference between the best team and good team, in tough situation, the best team continue to execute the their proved strategy, whether is to feed the best shooter or keep moving and go to basket. The good team or average team went back to their habit, in this case for OKC it's dribble, dribble, ISO and turnovers.
I agree here big time. A solid PF like Horford and maybe a sf like Batum who can shoot can do wonders for this team. Players like Beasley and Dmo should stay; players like brewer and potentially ariza should leave. We need players who can shoot the ball well.
