So you just want Harden to iso? Not aimed at you but I don't get why Iso ball is brought up so much with OKC when damn near the whole NBA goes iso ball down the stretch. Hell Curry and Thompson came down a few times and shot the ball without passing

I am not surprised GS won this game.

I think OKC might still pull it out in game 7. My original prediction of okc in 7.

all this talk about how hero ball killed okc

Klay Thompson was the DEFINITION of hero ball tonight. Zero assists. 41 poitns. Just turned and around and shot it.

So the real difference was golden states heroes were better than thunders. End of story.

small ball, hero ball, coaching, blah blah blah... warriors have curry and thompson and if either one goes super saiyan then the game is over.

If KD had shot even 40%, OKC would have won. Klay was incredible, but OKC straight up choked.

Hero ball is only called that when the team loses. Funny thing is those same fans complain about Lebron making the right play instead of shooting down the stretch of games

Feeding the hot hand =/= hero ball. Thompson's hot as F. Curry not so much in the beginning, so Curry is smart enough to play "team ball" and let others play. No one feels left out, they focus on their roles.

OKC try to have the same attitude and try to encourage / Justify their stars; coach said they're good shots, Steven Adams said they believe in the stars. But it's clear iggy and dubs defense had more success containing isos than ball movement. Cos isos lead to bad shots.

Otoh, Klay and steph can shoot the second they touch the ball. And they go in. Bad shots are good shots for them on a hot night. Dubs version of iso is indefensible when it works / when shots fall. Crazy performance by Klay.

It's so hard to come back from down 3-1 because you have to win three straight with at least one game on the road. Also, usually, the better team has the 3-1 lead.

In this case, the better team was trailing and also, the Warriors have gotten past the hardest part--winning two of the three games (including the road game). They no longer have to win three in a row, as two games are out of the way. They now just need to win one in a row, at home.

Nothing is guaranteed--the Warriors lost at home in game 1. But now it's no longer an issue of "it's hard to come back from 3-1." It's now, how hard is it to win one game at home? It's certainly not trivial, but the odds are now in the Warriors' favor.

Moreover, I think they got complacent for two months, they didn't play the right way for a while as u can see their win-rate dropping toward the end of season.

In the first half today, dubs were still tight, but got loose and back to themselves by second half. After a made OKC bucket, they'd just inbound right a way and take care of business, move the ball, etc. even when they're down, they got in control since the second half.

As the Warriors got back into their groove and their old team ball ways, OKC fell back into their comfort zone and reverted to iso hero balls. The makings of a man emerge under pressure, and just like that the universe fall back into order.. ?

Props to the posters who thought the GSW had a chance to come back down 3-1 in the series.

Couldn't watch the game, but my son told me OKC had a nearly 10-point into the 4th quarter with a chance to bury the dubs. If so, there is no way to put: choke job.

no matter who wins game 7, I'm just so grateful to witness game 6. Absolutely fabulous performance by klay and some epic shots by the MVP Steph Curry!

I just hope we see more of the same in game 7, big shots, big games, big effort and big heart!
