Who cares? The series was already over by that point no one is coming back from 3 down. What about 3 of the 4 previous games in that series where he outplayed Curry? And he was a 21 year old 3rd option in the Finals forced to guard LeBron while KD got lit up Chalmers. Miami literally set up their team to stop him. Idiotic to blame him
I've seen it enough. Durant has lost his touch. It seriously looks like Harden is a better player at this point.
Do we even want Durant coming here? This is a serious question. Without WB, OKC would be just as bad as Houston it seems.
KD needs harden. Harden is better than russ iv been trying to tell ppl this. Sure he can look like the best player in basktball some nights but when it counts he's way to reckless with the ball and throws up terrible shots. Harden is actually plays under control and is one of the best late game performers in the league. He's been tops in terms of ppg in the last 5 min and also in game winners the last 3 years. This year he had some bloopers but overall he's very clucth. Harden would help KD out a lot in closing situations. Harden/KD>Russ/KD. Russ is a good player but his game is to eratic over a playoff run to be you best or second best player on a championship team. Their role players are stepping up their team is deeper than any but russ and KD can't close and it's been their problem for not just this year but every year since harden left. Harden was there closer and they traded him away. Thanks OKC
U should give some shooters around Harden. If Harden has some guy like Thompson, he can be easily 25p/10a
I get back from vacation and we have DANTONI as coach???? We also are saying Durant is not wanted on this team. You "fans" are just as delusional as LES?!?!? Wtf?? Durant would instantly be the best player on this team and would make Harden better because he would actually create for someone who can shoot. Every player had bad games in the playoffs not just harden the foul thing is a myth. Fans here tend to think that because he's on our team. Harden won OKC their only trip to The finals he was the best player that series not KD not russ. Lay year harden closed out clips in game 7 and more than outplayed curry and almost by himself won the first two games in Oakland last year in the WCF. Curry has disappeared this playoffs in games is he not good? How about LeBron avg 17ppg and not shooting in the 4th quarter in his first finals with the heat? Jordan and Hakeem had playoff duds. Kobe had playoff duds. I mean I get it fans and media hate harden for whatever reason but he's an absolute stud and one of the best offensive players to ever play the game. He needs maturity and better coaching (suspect hiring for that) with maturity he'll play better D which is all anyone wants. When he does that he's much more potent than any player in the game not named lebron and curry to an extent and he can do anything they can. We nitpick the wrong things about harden. He's more than fine offesnivly to be the best player on a championship team he needs better roster and he himself has to commit to the process like curry started doing a few years ago after suffering his ankle injury. When he does that the skies the limit for him he can win his mvp he wants and take houston to a title that we want so badly.
I agree, i think Harden/Durant is just a better fit than Wes/Durant, but i'm not sure we have chance at this point, and i think D'Antoni is not helping our chances...
Keep telling people that. Harden is lazy, even more turn over prone and not as competitive. At least Russ fights hard, Harden stops caring and going for his jumpers if he does not get any calls. We saw his turnovers. Maybe OKC Harden was hungrier but not this Rocket version of Harden.
