Man, Keuchel still sucking a fat one this year.

He must've remembered his name was DAL.

Sit his ass down for a while. Until then, he's DAL.

Would give Keuchel until All Star Break as he has earned that. Tonight giving up to Trout and Pujols I would consider ok. Those guys are HOF. It's not that embarrassing.

the pitch to Pujols was low...but low middle, and he was clearly looking there.

Are guys just looking in the low part of the zone? Basically chopping the top half of the zone out of their view, and then deciding "strike or not" within the low portion? And without significant velocity, that approach allows them to see the pitch often when it's there?

Which is another way of asking, is Keuchel throwing too high of a %age of his "in-the-zone pitches" in the bottom part of the zone?

If Keuchel can keep the Angels at 2 through 6 then I like our chances. The 5th inning is the key. If we can't score more than 1 run off Weaver I'm going to go nuts.

I thought the same thing when pre game Julia was talking about Trout and co. being a good low ball hitter. If this is the case then give them something high, changing the eye level to keep them off balance.

Is it too late for the Moran experiment to be over?
