I'm not saying what he did was okay but there is a difference between taking pictures of yourself having sex and pinning someone against a fence and raping them.
There's also a difference between taking pictures of yourself having sex and taking pictures/video of someone else naked and having sex, without their knowledge, and then distributing them. The guys Baylor got probably weren't convicted prior to their arrival or recruitment, either. Unlike Tillman. Anyway. The moral of the story here is that there are a lot of glass houses waiting to be shattered. Since Tom Herman is a guy who believes in second chances (by his own words), I'd rather that UH's glass house stay in tact. Hell, if Baylor hadn't bought Briles away from us, this would be UH's day of reckoning.
Sources: Art Briles Not Safe Just Yet SIAP. Will Baizer of HornSports: This morning Chip Brown released a report that Baylor Regents have decided to fire Kenneth Starr. Chip Brown also reported that Art Briles will remain the Head Coach of Baylor football "barring any evidence turning up that Briles was engaged in a coverup." Sources close to the situation told me that this scenario could be closer than many believe. There appears to be a future publication coming from Texas Monthly that could be damaging to not only Baylor, but Briles as well. According to another source, Baylor appears to be aware of this and has begun the process of protecting themselves. I'm being told that Baylor is keeping in touch with a coach from the Art Briles coaching tree in case a move needs to be made. It's not that Baylor had these guys on the team that has everyone screaming. It is the fact that Baylor kept these guys on the team when there was evidence that they did horrible things while at Baylor and ignored the victims who were students and fellow athletes.
Another gem out of Austin! Yeah, there's no agenda at all. Lol. At this point, it appears to be click bait. Thousands of clicks from Texas fans. Always follow the money.

The whole situation is pathetic for a university that calls itself Christian; they've sold out their religious beliefs for money.
Baylor was given millions by the carnival Barker Uncle Drayton. Their stadium is named after him. Uncle Drayton got rid of Julio Lugo for "allegedly" hitting his wife. He did so before the facts came out. Trying to protect his brand. Come to find out Lugo's wife lied. Wonder what he has to say about all of this? As for UH recruiting that kid, I think a lot of you are missing the point. I certainly understand giving a kid (or anyone for that matter) a second chance. The point of all this S&!T going on at Baylor, is not doing anything (AND TURNING A BLIND EYE) when something went down. In their case, not just one case, but MULTIPLE times!!!
Why are you bringing these articles up? No one said you are more likely to be raped at Baylor. People's problem with Baylor is that they ignored it when it happened and in some cases, victimized the victim.
I've seen plenty of instances where people have insinuated that the campus isn't safe. These articles prove that it's probably just as safe or unsafe as any other campus. It also shows that a lot of girls don't think administration will take their allegations seriously and 15-20 percent of incidents go unreported. I know the difference and I clearly said that Baylor didn't handle the cases correctly.
That's a convenient re-writing of the situation. Many, many people are crapping on Briles (and the Baylor admin) for letting "dangerous" people on their campus/football team. "Dangerous" without a conviction, and sometimes without even an arrest.
While there is some concern that he takes on unreasonable risk in bringing in talented football players, the bigger outcry is still over the (lack of) reaction. Baylor just isn't getting the message. That's why we're still seeing a bunch of apologists and people continuing to focus on football. One of their players, Terrance Williams, tweeted "Can't even get with a girl from Baylor with out fearing for my future now..." Briles recently tweeted a bunch of academic stats with the hashtags #truthdontlie and #becourageous. These 2 tweets perfectly embody the attitude that people are concerned about. No remorse, no awareness, no learning from the situation. There's no denying that Texas has its own issues, but when 2 players were charged with sexual assault, they were dismissed almost immediately. Strong dismissed a ****load of players over a drug that probably half of the non-athletes at UT use with some regularity. The message is at least somewhat clear that football doesn't take precedence to following rules and upholding safety.
