The thing you got to respect about Durant and Westbrook, is that there is no suspicion that they were partying the previous night of the game. These two seem dead set on winning day in and day out, that is the mindset and commitment you want from your star players.

Leave the partying until after the season...Harden still needs to mature in this regard.

Is OKC a better team than the Rockets now? Of course. That doesn't mean they "won" the Harden trade. That's idiotic.

I think we can all agree that throwing away the last couple of seasons (2014-15 working out for us anyway, last season being a steaming hot pile of dog crap) in the pursuit of Durant was a giant circle jerk in futility.

Hopefully Daryl "Home-Run-or-Bust" Morey isn't clinging to the delusion, but it does seem that he has more realistic targets in mind now.

OKC definitely did not win the trade player wise but one thing for sure - Samuel Presti is a much better GM than Daryl Moronic.

He found a pretty good supporting cast around KD and Westbrook - Guys like Adams, Roberson, Waiters and even Kanter (who many thought was a horrible contract).

Oh and he found a top coach despite what posters who don't know how to evaluate coaching like photojoe will say.

Time will tell, but Adams and Lowry are going strong now. Lamb is decent backup in CHA. I'm not sure if Roberson is picked with our high second rounder in that trade.

Steve Adams may not be the reason OKC has won 65 games this year but he does have bigger kiwis than Harden.

The Harden trade might be analogous a little to the initially all-time lopsided Lakers/Grizzlies trade of the Gasol bros, as it takes awhile for the young big in the trade to develop. That being said, troll post by OP.

Yup, OP is the guy who absolutely would trade James Harden for Steven Adams.

James Harden, Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward traded to Houston for Jeremy Lamb, Kevin Martin, Steven Adams, Mitch McGary and Alex Abrines.

OKC got fleeced on the Harden trade. However, Presti knows how to draft and made up for it overtime. We suck at drafting and it showed this year.

OKC got screwed on the Harden deal, but you I think Presti is a much better drafter than Morey.

Look at all the max or near max guys he has drafted:
    Durant
    Goatbrooks
    Harden
    Ibaka
    Jackson

    Porbably
    Adams

The guy is money when picking guys.

It's more complex than that. Morey's philosophy was always trying to find a imaginary 3rd star. Presti knew he couldn't pay 3 stars so he took that extra $$$ and found 4-5 solid role players to help KD & WB. This is why Presti's a better GM

This. I'm not even sure why I'm responding to this trolls post, but no. Steven Adams will never be able to lead any team into the playoffs. And I really like him as a player. Top 3 big man right now.

Un no, Presti in his infinite wisdom decided to pay Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka big money, which cost him Harden.

He is not a good GM, but he is incredibly lucky.
