By the way, what odds are the Warriors getting to win in 7 now?

They've tried. Roberson has been active and still making Curry expend energy battling a bigger player (especially when he cuts in the post) and he's been hitting open shots whenever they have had to double Durant or WB anyway, since no one else can check them solo either.

I remarked on this earlier. Barkley failed to mentioned that Kerr had Curry in the Harden role on defense early, and that was just as bad or worse that putting him on WB with zone help, which is what nearly every team does on WB, Pop does it with Parker. Having Curry play the Parker role was an adjustment away from playing the Harden role of weakside roamer in the low post. That is Curry's normal spot and OKC exposed that like teams do to Harden.

This isn't about who Curry should guard, because the NBA doesn't need to play strict man defense any more. Barkley was being too simple.

I Need to rewatch. Look for a zone man behind Adams. Curry might have no play. Similar to how many said Harden lost a step.

See comment above to jolt. If there is a zone man behind Adams, those guys prevent Harden and WB from driving past too. It's the new NBA defense against the ISO and PNR players. But in this case, it would be a wrinkle to put the big on the ball handler straight off before the pick. Might not be what happened though. Need to rewatch.

As for you looking for signs Curry is hurt, doesn't the dude always show us with histrionics that every whittle thing hurts and he's playing through it. I didn't see him once grabbing an ankle, grimace or having a trainer pander to him

People do not realize that the MVP is a regular season award.

There should be a Postseason MVP next to the Finals MVP that is currently available

Oh, I get it. You're Harden's beard. That explains it.

Curry assigned to guard Roberson, arguably the worst offensive player in OKC roster.

Roberson scores career high 17 points.

    :)

What we are witnessing is a total destruction of a historic NBA team by a lower seeded one.

GSW have been neutered by OKC. They are walking and running around like Reek in Games of Thrones. lol

Closing out the series is the hardest thing to do. I'm hopeful that OKC will be able to accomplish that.

Is this the NBA Dish or the Stephen Curry Dish

Clutch should rename this to: "All things related to Steph Curry"

Steph Curry mostly relies on screens and his superb shooting to be great. The biggest reason it works is not that he can nail ridiculous shots with the slightest space, but the anti-intuition factor: It's so out of ordinary that most defenders are just not used to having to close on him so much.

But there's a tipping point: When defenders had more experience and adjust their expectations over time, it's actually not that hard to say "forget about the penetration, let me just defend him chest to chest and avoid those video game shots first". Of course there's team strategy and individual defensive talent involved, but Curry has his physical/athletic limits.

Westbrook's playing Hakeem to Curry's David Robinson.

"That man's got my MVP trophy."
