    I would hope so.

The real reason is that there are no guns? I knew it! ;)

And the reason there are no guns? Not because of a "Gun Free Zone" policy but because of the investment in time, money and manpower to insure the policy is ENFORCED. ;)

Of course. Policies without enforcement are just friendly suggestions. ;)

Thus we have the reason for the complete ineffectiveness of most "Gun Free Zones". There is simply no way to enforce them almost anywhere else like they do at MMP thereby leaving ONLY the innocent defenseless. BTW, I'm all in favor of Gun Free Zones if they CAN be enforced. (arenas, airplanes, etc)

Penalties are only effective against people that will be forced to endure them. Someone who is intent on suicide really doesn't care what the laws are so they're ineffective on them. They're pretty effective on everyone else.

Let's be real though, the gun free zone is a favorite political attack for gun nuts because they believe they live in a Grand Theft Auto video game. They think there are thugs and gang bangers around every corner waiting to rob and kill them. They carry guns without safeties and one round in the chamber because they think they may have a gunfight with criminals in a split second. They carry multiple magazines full of rounds "just in case" with their spyderco knife and their paracord bracelets with their bug out bags and AR's in the truck. I mean just nuts.

I didn't really get the whole gun thing until a few years ago when I started going shooting with a buddy of mine. We took a CHL course and a lot of training classes over that time. It's a fun hobby but now I know from experience that these folks are freaking nuts.

LOL it's like trying to have a political conversation with a really arrogant infant. If it wasn't so sad it would probably be hilarious.

I hope you don't own any guns and actually you're exactly why it's critical we have psych evals in background checks. It's scary that someone that continually exhibits a contempt for people, a lack of empathy, and just a callous nature overall could walk in and buy a gun in 15 minutes. That's just f'ed up.

It's great to see Karl Malone there. I have great admiration for him. To the pits of hell with you huff post Apple laptop, Starbucks drinking white girls.

Interesting that Trump preaches against Climate Change...except when it comes to his properties...

Stumbled on this shop today while strolling through the streets of Kyoto.

    Coincidence or brilliance?

He was applying for a permit and citing the political bogeyman of the day is an easy way to get things done...

Why does he need to build a big seawall if he doesn't believe in climate change?

Should the regulator then deny the application since the justification of the work is obviously made up?

Why would a false justification ever stop government from making stupid decisions with our money?

You mean the world doesn't need seawalls if there is no climate change?

Well, in this case, it would be the money of the Irish. Anyway, the decision doesn't need to be smart or stupid, it can be simply vindictive. ;)

Certainly not ones designed for rising sea levels and increased erosion due to the expected environmental impact of global warming. You realize the environmental study said that building the seawall was unnecessary. So why is Trump worried about it so much that he has to make up climate change as a reason.

I guess it's better to just spin things to defend Trump rather than look at it at face value, right?

    Stereotype much?

Naturally, you wouldn't mind providing evidence of all these conclusions. If they are 'real', that shouldn't be any problem at all, right? Unless, of course, these are all just unfounded perceptions...

FWIW...while interesting, this is a very small snapshot, and doesn't qualify as 'evidence'. I would point out, for example, that as you were one of those going to said training classes, etc. you would fit your own stereotype, and therefore be 'freaking nuts' as well. Which I imagine you would disagree with, despite your own stereotyping..
