The lack of time passage doesn't bother me, but I can see why it would bother some of the more hardcore fans. I was curious and looked up maps of the ASOIAF world. From Eyrie to the wall is about 2000 miles. At the speed of horse travel, that should take about at least 2 months. It's a 6000 mile journey to sail from the Pyke to Mereen and the show made it seem like it's just a quick jaunt across the bay.
Concerning how I felt about last night's episode, I loved it. I found it very interesting that the Red Priestess says to Varys that everything has happened for a reason, that everyone is exactly where they need to be. Then we see what happens with Hodor. Even though they were 2 different story lines, Hodor was exactly where he needed to be, because Bran caused him to become mentally handicapped. #RIPWillis #HoldTheDoor
They aren't trying for the Iron Throne, just Winterfell. Only Daenerys (and maybe Littefinger) seem interested in that at the moment.
I was thinking Jorah might go to the maesters in Oldtown and link up with Sam (who is presently headed to his father's estate, so he'd have to move on to Oldtown). Now, I have no idea what you could get by pairing those two. Maybe Sam brings insight on the White Walkers to Dany via Jorah?
The only time thing that I would find annoying is if this dude builds a fleet of ships in no time. I don't care that little finger just pops up anywhere but it'd be lazy to have a bunch of ships appear like nothing.
This is very plausible as well. Somehow Danny is going to hook-up with what's happening up north, Jorah seems like the likely candidate.
This new red priestess concerns me. Having said everything she said about serving the lord of light and knowing everything about Varys and how so confident she is about everything being where they need to be. Well... Theres another red priestess and she also serves the same god, the lord of light, but shes at a stage in her life where shes doubting everything about the lord of light. Maybe shes an old flame thats dying out and a new flame is the new red priestess???
The meeting between Little Finger and Royce may have actually happened a couple of weeks prior to the meeting between him and Sansa and prior to Sansa actually getting to the Wall. The 1st few episodes covered about 24 hours on the Wall but clearly covered days and weeks with Sansa's traveling from Winterfell to the Wall and days or weeks showing Jamie arriving with Myrcella, the assassination of the Martells, the funeral of Myrcella etc... I think its fairly redicualus to just assume every scene that happens in the different lands are happening in unison at once. They never have so why should this be any different.
Melisandre no longer doubts the Lord of Light, only herself. Same thing happened with Thoros of Myr (the Red Priest). I think this new priestess is higher up the food chain in their order.
